That last fish would have been a beauty but you still caught fish. Losing a fish and wondering what it could have been is part of the game and makes for a good story, you know, the one that got away. We also have travelled with two small dogs and it can be difficult at times and definitely restricts where you can go. The painted blue trees is an initiative to raise the awareness of mental health, spreading the paint spreads the awareness. Once you get further North there will be a lot more free camps and keep the episodes coming. Cheers!

Ohh Sep I would have loved to see what it was! But like you said that’s all part of the game. If our dogs were a little more obedient it would of been a lot easier and we would of kept them with us, but they just did not listen out here which scared me cause anything can happen out here. It makes sense now about the trees being painted blue! I’ve always wondered what it ment! It’s so good that people are trying to push the message of mental health in all sorts of ways. We are all affected by it one way or another. Thank you heaps for your comment Sep!

Hi mate love the video with gang hooks firstly measure the bait to fit the hooks then put one hook in then turn the next hook into the bait and repeat that as for the big fish you lost it was either a stingray or a shark or a big mullaway cheers hook the big one Phil

Hey Philip! Thanks heaps for that tip, I’m shocking at doing it, the pilly already looks like it’s been eaten by the time I get the hooks in it 😂. I thought it could have been a stingray but I was using like a pelagic lure, but I do think it could have been a shark or melloway! Thanks heaps for your comment mate I really appreciate it!

Painted blue trees was started by Jayden Wytes family to raise mental health/suicide awareness after Jayden took his own life after trying to get help and couldn’t get it. Love watching your channel, and it’s nice to see your partner on camera a bit more.

Hey Denise! Thank you heaps for that. I’m a big advocate for mental health, big part of the reason doing what I’m doing. Some thing that wasn’t really spoken about and is getting more and more of the attention that it needs, everyone deserves to to get the help that’s needed! Thank you so much for your comment! Haha and as for Kayla she is slowly coming out of her shell 😂

Every time you set up your awning, you always need to angle it down to prevent water pooling. I usually drop one side just enough to allow water to run off freely. In my early caravanning days, I made the mistake once of not angling the awning, it filled with water and I think slightly stretched the vinyl. Not pretty. Also, can I suggest, especially with the awning type you have which I assume is Fiamma, to always tie it down to the ground. It will take very little wind to flip it straight over the top of your van, causing significant damage. I have seen it happen to a mate's van/awning - full new awning required and dents to his camper/van. Enjoying watching your travels. Have a great trip. Dave

Hey mate, I did have one side of the awning down abit more then the other but must not of had it down enough. I could not believe how much water it held! Next time I put it out I’m going to drop it down a lot more. And yeah that’s a good point I have the tie downs but never think I’ll need them until a gust of wind comes haha I do screw it down but your right it doesn’t take much for them! Thanks heaps for your comment Dave I appreciate it!
