Just an update. He's in his mid 20's now, and his arm is freezing up. He's debating if he will have major surgery. He has that 250 year old violin, but he can't play anymore. :(

@@blackfeathercrafts I should've known you woud've tried that already. An aunt & uncle had black bears stealing all the seed out of their bird feeders. We were talking & someone came up with hot pepper sprinkled in the seed one night, but what if some stray bird came along and got hurt. Their solution was drilling some eye bolts in the branches of the trees that stood over the feeders & running a line through that to the birdfeeder. Each evening they'd go out and do what feeder-raising ceremony for 4 or 5 feeders, and tie the lines off on hooks attached to the trunks. Ingenious solution :D

@@blackfeathercrafts Yep, the bears normally came around dusk, if I remember, so every evening they'd draw them up, then the next morning let them down again.

@@blackfeathercrafts When a friend was in Japan for the Air Force he got a 3' x 4' dragon carving on mahogany about and inch to 1.5 inches thick. The artist was SO detailed carving the scales; it was unbelievable.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun wearing it. I even walked a block on a busy street to stop and get a smoothie from the health store- saw my reflection in the windows, and liked it. The edges of the skirt are a fairy cut and it was blowing around my bare legs a little dangerous! There are slits up both sides. :)
