Oh boy, I remember coming from a family that was considered as "poor" but we had everything .... everything important "Family". And kids are so mean ... I remember in High School, people picking on this one girl because she was "poor" I stood up to them "Don't you pick on her!!!" .... and regarding two dads or two moms ... who cares? I live in East TN and I am a lesbian.I have been here with my partner for over 17 years. They way they treat gay ppl here are terrible. Still very racist here also. On the way to my home thru my neighborhood, I go by at least 5 homes with confederate flags. Ppl are not respectful here at all unless you believe the way they believe.

I'm lucky to live in Minnesota where it's a protected state. My wife and I can be out in public without a problem. And people address us both as "Ladies". :)

Hugs. Colorado is very open to people. We have an openly Gay Governor And he and his husband are nice people. He also does a really good job too as Governor. It's important for kids to learn to accept people.

In some ways Americans are very advanced, in other just falling very hard behind. I so want to say: You shouldn't let it get it yo you, then I know it is not that easy. In the end they are dumb, falling backward and they have no clue what Christianity actually is. Claiming they know what God will and will not do is a joke, no one knows, not even the priests.
