I love seeing my design overseas. I designed the decals for the Polaris wheels and the Aeroo handlebars.

@ All good, you can't believe everything you read these days - it shows you also do your homework as a YT bikefluencer. QX is very collaborative and always open to new ideas and pushing boundaries. One thing I never doubt, is his meticulous attention to detail and its reflected in his products. I love working with people who share a deep passion for their craft.

So what is the best way to avoid punctures for the rest of 2025?

You are using the magene radar? is it good? Thinking of getting one.
@Marco.cycles18 күн бұрын
Yeap using the Magene radar! It does what it’s suppose to do I guess. A rear light and a car detection system. The original mount and rubber didn’t really fit well with my D shaped aero seatpost. So I had to change to a saddle rail mount which works a lot better
@letsgoletsgoletsgoletsgoletsgo19 күн бұрын
when you fall during corners , can you recall if its your front tire that wipe out ? regarding radar ... i actually prefer using a helmet mounted mirror ... super geeky but it works so so well
@Marco.cycles18 күн бұрын
Everything is of course always up to personal preference. Nothing beats being able to see the danger on your own! The radar is just there to help!

So hows the longer term experience using the tpu tubes? Are they good?
@Marco.cycles2 ай бұрын
Long term wise, it’s not too bad! Didn’t really have much punctures such as pinch flats. Those that can’t be avoided would’ve obviously punctured any tube regardless However I would say for TPU wise, if you have the tendency to keep changing your tyres and wheelsets, they do stretch and that is when user error when mounting might affect and pinch flat. (At least for me this was the problem because sometimes I have to use levers to pry the tyre on)

i love this. I was wanting this design of handlebar for a long time after seeing. the Coefficient Wave I thought sure we can keep the angled sweep without needing the weird void/bulge in the middle. Also the fact that Ascent flar the drops almost makes this my perfect design. But a single size at 30mm on the hoods raises questions for me. Surely we need a range of sizes.
@Marco.cycles2 ай бұрын
The single size of 30 in the middle honestly was a major concern for me as well. Coming from a 40 bar. But in reality, it fit quite well. If you see someone having it, or have the chance to go down to Ascent. Give it a go!
@hockysa2 ай бұрын
@@Marco.cycles will also be coming from a 40cm bar. I will be in Singapore next week for a couple days, will see if I can squeeze in a visit to their shop. Thanks!

Hey bro don’t mean to be judgemental but going for such races, simply “training for that event” is not enough. Most riders who go join such race and wanna win are those who train 12h-20h a week. When I say train, means it’s structured and every ride is training and has a purpose. That includes intervals, base, etc. Not cafe rides. Not to mention, u are also coming up against seasoned racers and very strong riders from local clubs that are hiding in open category, because not all of those guys will join elite. Even if u are one of the 30-40 people who train damn seriously every single day for the whole year, note that your odd of winning is 1 out of 30 (or 27 if u count podium placement) means odds are stacked against u. In crit, it’s all about tactics and mind games. Absolute power won’t make u win a race, and sorry to say u have neither. I mean it’s not a bad thing, different people got different priority but if u wanna race u gotta train seriously otherwise u can always go there to enjoy the experience, either way it’s fun
@jeremyemilio93782 ай бұрын
Tbh not one bit surprised especially when you didn't train for the event properly at all.

BTW for those contemplating getting their products, be very careful if you are thiking of getting from TB. I got a C416 and i could not use it in SG. lol They do check the geolocation or something, my bad as the TB page did warn that itis not meant to be used outside of CN. Luckily still could re-use the S3 cadence sensor that came with it from another set that i got from Shopee (local seller, iirc official magene store).
