I hate America, but not the people who fight for it. Every country has a soldier, who die unknowingly to the rest of the world. RIP pilots to both sides of the war, and those who came after them.

This was the first airshow I had ever been to, I was 5 and I remembered seeing the B-17s just before they taxied out to the runway and that's when I decided that the B-17 was one of my favorite airplanes

I have "Little Sparrow's" original steel drum he used to play at the Lucayan Beach Hotel in the 1960's and would love to have it "overhauled". How can I reach you to have you do it with "his" drum? I'm on Facebook where you can send me a private message. I live in Punta Gorda, FL.

Was he a FW-190 pilot? I'm always curious if anyone knew the guys who shot down my grandpa lol, sounded like a cool dude... My grandpa's crew didn't like him, but the FW-190 pilot offered the pilot of the B-17 a beer before they became POW's! Takes a special kind of man to have the respect to give "the enemy" a beer for sure!

Usually this problem is caused by having the inside F (F5) placed directly in front of the rim F (F4). The problem occurs on many notes on many tenor pans. If you go to my website and look at the layout of the Tenor Pan, you'll notice that the inside ring of notes is offset relative to the rim notes - each inner note is in front of the space between two adjacent rim notes, as opposed to direclty in front of the rim not. This addresses the problem you have described.
@Britalex11 жыл бұрын
I have a question. In my new steel pan and others, I find that the inner F always sounds muddy/cloudy. Is this your experience too ?
@saw156511 жыл бұрын

Chuck, painted pans tend to be slightly drier and less resonant than chromed pans. This is less noticeable on my Performance and Precision Pans since they are made from thicker steel and so relatively speaking the paint is not as parasitic.
