Man, I met Shawn at a convention a couple years ago, and Marko has been a favorite of mine for a long time. This podcast was great! I have a copy of the Black Atlantic artbook signed by Marko, because I did fanart of Falberg from Degenesis, and he liked it. Can confirm, the book is of high quality!

I just went full time as a comic artist this year! Inkpulp has been on most days while I work! Been going through the backlog and this one really hit. Great fuel for the journey of self worth and turning my art into a business on my terms. Thanks for putting this stuff out there, its invaluable. That horror genre type you were talking about, they're often called Highbrow Horror, more sophisticated and intellectual than the usual type that's just all jumpscare and gore :)

Do both but don't lock the discord behind the patreon. You can have closed channels for Patreon members and have perks within there but let everyone get in on the Discord. Let it be a place to grow and foster creativity. Share comics, art and stories. Its the closest we have to a current blog/forum so let everyone post their stuff and get it out there to the larger comics community. Set it up, be a gentle presence within it and let it grow organically. Not only keep craft alive, but help it thrive

It would be great to see an episode where Matteo tells his process from the script to the final page!!!! i'd love to hear how and why he chooses one shot rather than another. Not obviously the comic he's working on rn, even if it would be terrific (No spoilers!!!), but maybe some "old" stuff like King of Spies, mr freeze or Harley Quinn.
