My question is, how do I safely receive the ball? If I just stay and wait, the opponent gets it. If I run to it, the player kicks it too far away from himself upon initial contact. If I just jolt the controller slightly, in an attempt to move very little, he does some stupid trick and loses the ball. Help Pls

My left hand is still in pain from pressing L1 after the final spare fight and some trophies left. Im not as good as any of these guys but heres what worked for me with some persistence. When he makes his first swooping move - avoid….next just spam L1 for his barrage of punches… as soon as that is complete spam heavy heavy heavy till he backs off a little. …. Keep repeating this three move flow till the final is over. Avoid, parry, hit.
