I've driven around the Darlington town square many times. Hartsville is my home town. My last house was in Florence County SC and Cale lived in Florence County also I believe.

Goodness Hamilton Jr's wife was obnoxious!! I also forgot Wally drove for Morgan Sheppard. The 6 car was wayyyyy better than the 89 ride.

52:15 Benny glossed over the reason why NASCAR changed the age to 18. Kyle was 3 or 4 races in on a 5 race preseason in a Roush truck when he got banned from a race in California. The state didn't like a 16 year old racing in a companion event leading up to a race sponsored by Marlboro.

Odd how Kenny never thanked Michael Waltrip despite him driving the 99, but saying it was a Bill Davis prepared entry. Was the 99 deal just for the owners points?

This was a great race. That JGR nationwide team between the 18 and 20 in 2008 was dominant. Shot themselves in the foot out of about 5 extra wins and the championship for sure

I am less a fan of motorsports, much more one cycling road races. Have just watched this vid and a few others of 1965 to 1970 NASCAR races. One observation I made on these as well as on contemporary pro cycling race videos is: Most of those drivers and cyclists faces then had the looks of "real" men, more masculine/much different of todays professional cyclists or race car drivers. I am not able to explain it properly, but they had different expressions. Generally people did look different in the States just as over here in Europe. Most young to middle aged people were still more or less slim then, while today..... 😞😧 Much has changed to the worse , especially over the last 20 years.

These old IMSA's racing machines were beautiful and incredible. I am an Brazilian Indy Car fan, before and after 1996's split, but I'm beggining to watch 80's and 90's IMSA races... and I'm appreciating.

Pruett saw Montoya make the move and still came down. Montoya didn't move up at all. He was there. Should've won richmond in 2013. Probably the most underappreciated driver ever. He did a lot with some garbage ganassi equipment that Larson couldn't even win with for three more years.

@@KZbinAuditor1 a broken clock is right twice a day you daft m o f o one instance that Montoya (one of the greatest drivers ever) was competitive has no bearing on the overall horrible performance of ganssi post 2010 if it wasn’t for Larson inking out some wins in that horrible 42 Chevy SS they woulda closed down way soon before trackhouse came calling
