The great players that have.played at bama is a ling and historical list. I am older guy i remember the 85 auburn win with the fg at end of game. I remember bennet(biscuit) and hos terrorizing opponents offense. And the greatest derrick thomas, that boy hit like a frieght train. The last clio tyrone prothro with what bama fans still refer to as THE CATCH.

16 November 2021 04:30 I'm not here to complain or rant about 'Bama's performance this season, nor do I possess the divine solution to their obvious inconsistencies in all facets of the game. I'm an armchair quarterback at best, however, it seems to me as if this year's team has an identity dilemma. After collectively observering 'Bama's players demeanor through ten games this season, I've often found myself pondering, what has this year's team earned? Yes, they've accomplished winning eight games as a team thus far, but again, what have they collectively earned? Why does it appear as if they feel obligated to a National Championship Trophy, rather than bear an obligation to win their own National Championship Trophy? Obviously, the college football world is no longer impressed or find themselves entertained or intimidated by the "Crimson Tide". Javier Arenas isn't bouncing up and running back to the line, eagerly anticipating another snap after every. single. play. Do you remember how the electricity in the air made the hairs on your arm stand up when Arenas was about to field a punt or how he bent the air around him after he just intercepted a pass? Rolando McClain's thundering audible no longer echoes when the fullback motions behind the left tackle. Do you remember when a young, but calm McClain came in cold off of the bench for injured Hightower? He quickly became the undisputed roaring leader of the defense and never looked back. Josh Jacobs methodically squaring up his shoulders to run through a defender rather than elude him, has evaporated from Bryant-Denny Stadium hallowed grounds. Do you remember how hard he ran and blocked each and every play? It was almost as if he was running away from something or blindly running towards something greater? Growing up homeless and living with his four siblings in his father's old Suburban, seemingly propelled him far beyond the number of stars on his high-school recruiting report. With all of this being said, where is this Alabama's team intensity, focus, leadership, and fortitude? Have they forgotten the legacy that they all are charged with honoring? What have they earned? Where have they been, so far? Most importantly, have they all forgotten the most important part of having the honor of putting on that Crimson and white uniform....... ALABAMA, WHERE LEGENDS ARE MADE!

But we ended up losing this game. 😔 LSU won 41-34. Saban's first year, but before the the return of Bama football, which would begin the next two years.

There was another older hype video on KZbin for the longest, but I cannot find it anymore. It began with Bear Bryant: "You're not average. You're something special. We don't want you to ever forget that. And since you are something special, then I know you can win, if you put a little extra into it and a little extra in the game." Does anyone know what happened to that one?
