Well...Dang me. Nick.....a fab. little film if ever; MOST interesting, and you know MY credentials in the bygone Cornish Fishing Industry!!! Loooong time ago when Keith & I would come down 'yours' with 'blues' & crab and harangue you for whatever was then the 'price' to be increased....LoL!! 'signed' .... Dickie Neville then of Cadgwith.

I stopped viewing at 3:35. Indoor, outdoor photography out of focus. Not even the works nor the label data are in focus. How can Tate St. Ives have such contempt for its art and artists that it displays at a mere 480p. Surely ART of all topics deserves, and needs, the highest resolution available.

Annoying and slapdash. And as for the inarticulate person who was making stuff in the studio, seriously? But this is the nonsense you get in the artworld.

Amazing that they threw away what is now regarded as the most benificial - the oil.

Interesting and informative to one like me who likes to have a tin of pilchards in tomato sauce on the shelf. Frozen, they make good but tender bait for bigger fish like kahawai or snapper from a jetty. Thank you Mr Commercial Fisherman here and in the UK for doing the hard work for which the reward is often minimal.

The best marketing ploy ever was to rename them Cornish Sardines, the chap that thought that one up is a genius

I've been eating pilchards AND visiting St. Ives for 60 years, both heaven on earth!

Were Cornish pilchards ever used by Glenryck's ?

Time to run these fishing parasites out of Cornwall, they sabotaged the British economy because they believed some toffs lies about fishing quotas, all coming back to bite the cunts now, serves them right for trying to stab Cornwalls other industries in the back.

The thermometer was on the boil almost instantly too... quicker than mine :) it’s a school so it’s use is fair enough to aid your judgment. I liked the fact he could do it without bouncing off the walls or speaking like your going to die in ten seconds

Celestial Teapot Well why don’t you then? See whether it is as straightforward as you seem to think? You can’t be dismissive if you have never tried, unless of course you have tried.
