Glad it helps good to know its easier to see the part your interested in rather that stuff your not. A friend taught me that a while back I use it when we do our training courses on the big screen.

I just got one of these, lots of fun!! It needs new rubber inside the play field, how do I lift the glass to get to it?

Open how the front door look under the lockdown bar there's 2 wing nuts to remove then the lockdown bar will lift up and you can slide the glass off.

Great video again guys. I noticed Graham cleaning a score reel. What does he use to clean them and not remove the numbers? Thanks again for all the great informative and entertaining videos. Keep up the good work!

It really depends on the condition of the reel so sometimes we clean them dry or sometimes with a commercial ammonia free spray and wipe. Extreme caution is needed 😌

Howdy gents. So I have taken it upon myself to repair my granddads old Gottlieb Flipper Cowboy. I have never worked on a pinball machine before and yall seem like experts with a long list of videos. Can you recommend an good starting point video I could watch to get me on my way? I appreciate the wisdom and experience you are sharing.

Great job Was wondering what are the bottom leaf switch of the four pop bumpers used for ? Cheers.

@@NeilKrenos thank you. The bottom pop bumper switches are the EOS end of stroke when that switch opens cuts power to the coil.

At 8:00 you stated the problem referencing the schematic. Could you also then show the actual "lug", "Log" that was "touching"? You showed us in theory what was wrong, but some of us have no idea where that is located in the machine.

@fishon7301 yes I meant to illustrate it but forgot. The two lugs touching are on those make break switches on the sequence trip bank located under the playfield.

These can be obtained through the Pinball Resource in Poughkeepsie New York Steve Young. It would possibly need to be be made up for you as there's wiring involved.

@andrewwalla1991 we use water with a deregent like dawn pr similar. For greasy parts we put in a jar and clean with kerosene.

Woah that game is in great looking shape. An older guy I knew told me old pinball machines used to pay off like a slot machine for high scores and such,,, is this true Goat Shed guys? tell spanky hi for me!

No. Only in rare cases were games rigged to pay out, and that was way before the era from where this game was made. Even winning a replay was considered a payout in some places, and this gave rise to add-a-ball pinball machines. They simply allowed extended play for high scores and "specials", thus circumventing any gambling regulations.

Thank you for this great video. I just purchased a jet spin that had numerous faults to find, one of which was someone did some work on the coin stepper. It wasn’t reassembled correctly. You video help me correct this very frustrating problem. THANK YOU. I now have an issue with the bonuses stepper. I’m hoping you have a video about that.

I'm not certain if you mean the armature plate with the white plastic drive pawl ? If so you could possibly buy one from PBR in New York or search for one on ebay etc.

It is good to see how someone actually does something. I have gotten confused when reading schematics or manuals. They will tell you what needs to be done but don't mention how to do it.
