Hard landings are used to scrubb off speed on short runways. Considering this runway has a 300 meters drop right after fhe end. I'll take the drop happily!

So now no ship to deliver supplies or vehicles. This aircraft can only handle so much cargo, so I will assume they have a cargo plane making deliveries also. What do they do when someone needs a car delivered?

My great great grandmother is from St. Helena. I live in California. I hope to visit there someday.

Nice video, brought back good memories. I made over 20 flights between LCY & NQY and vice versa, out on SZ668 on a Friday returning on SZ667 on Sunday. I loved all the cabin crews I encountered, they were always friendly, courteous and professional. A lot of airlines would learn a great deal as regards customer service. I was sad to see Air Southwest go from London City Airport, it used to take me just as long if not longer to get to Gatwick than it took to get to Newquay.

the pilot landed the plane like someone dropped a grand piano....looks like a beautiful island ..I would like to visit someday ,,,its a very long flight there from newhampshire usa...I just hoe they don't get over crowded with tourists and all the bad stuff that comes with it

Loved the -146! Big, roomy cabin for such a small plane. Other planes of that capacity feel like being crammed in a drain pipe. The -146 was like sitting in a living room moving 450-500 mph at 25,000 ft.
