We just went to Bergen again last month and had a great time! The weather was much better than expected but we did have a couple of veeeeery rainy days. We actually went to that same Espresso House when it was raining, and we were staying right near the cinema!

@@SiljeSLopez I really liked it! We enjoyed the food at Pingvinen (somewhere I liked last time I was there). I like all the fish dishes (fish pie, fish stew, fish soup etc) and also the pastries, of course!

Yeah, it was weird since I could use the suitcase immediately, and chopstick, but everything else went into a sealed tax-free bag. They even asked me if I needed to use any of the products while in Japan since I then would have to pay full price for it.

Did the airport check your bags for the tax free goods when you left Japan? How do they know you didn't open any of it?

Hey, no they did not check it. However, whenever you get Tax Free it is registered on your passport, and they can do random checks.

@@adriana18989 If the bag is opened or products used, you will be required to pay consumption tax upon departure. General goods such as electronics, designer items, watches & jewelry do not need to be packed & may be used in Japan. Items must be taken out of Japan within 6 months of the date of entry.

@@annam83373 I had everything in my checked bag. I do believe they are randomly checking luggage after check inn. The safest is just to not open the bag before you level Japan :)

i was there on business in the late 1980's and am still able to recall paying $40 for a pizza. it struck me then and still does today as the most relatively expensive meal i have ever eaten. cantaloupe on venus is still cheaper

We just returned home from a visit to Norway. We loved "Smash" and milk chocolate. I liked the sea salt licorice but my wife did not. We also had an orange flavored Diam bar- very unusual.

I love Ritual of Jing! I have the body spray and the sleep spray that's a dry oil, and I use it most nights. I'm going to try making a ginger shot as well cause I have a massive piece of ginger in the fridge that I need to use!

Rituals has the best products. Is Ritual of Jing your favorite? I was a Sakura girl for a while, however Ritual of Jing and Ritual of Karma has grown on me!!! Ginger shots are amazing for the health, but yeah try add some apples to it, makes the taste smoother. Also heard a little bit of coconut water mixed with the ginger is good. 😊

Thanks 😊 I don’t really use makeup, only for special occasions. However, I don’t really feel that I need it since my skin is in good condition, and eyelash extensions makes me look awake. I haven’t had any Botox/fillers or surgery in my face, however, have done hydra facial and laser treatments. I am planning to make a vlog about beauty routines and treatments that I recommend 😊

Loved this! It popped up in my feed and as luck would have it, I'm actually going to Bergen this summer for a friend's wedding :) The recommendations will definitely be useful! I visited her back in 2015 and Pingvinen was my favourite place, so I loved that you went there! I can't wait to go back and try more things. I loved the fish pie and fish stew but will have to try some of your recommendations there :)

Happy you loved it here ❤️ To visit Bergen in the summer season is the best! It’s the most beautiful city when the sun is out. Is your friend Norwegian? If so you have to get them to make Home Made Kjøttkake/Lapskaus for you. If not, Pingvinen is for sure a winner, or «bryggelofte» on Bryggen 🙌🏽

@@SiljeSLopez She's half Norwegian, half English but has lived in Norway for most of the time. She's Pescatarian, so we'll probably head to Pingvinen for the meaty things! I was in Bergen in April/May before and it was off-season and rainy, so hoping for some brighter days this time!

I will post more recommendations when it comes to what to see and try in Bergen in the future on this channel.
