Realistically, Ricky should've told Dinka his success with women came from the fact that he was handsome with greenish eyes. Dinka was mid which also reflected in how women treated him. But I get it's a movie and you wanna send a positive message to the audience.

I remember watching this as a child. It’s one of those films that makes being stupid appear “cool.” It’s all in fun but the message gets spread whether it is for fun or not.

Thank you for maiking this video, as any modern physical copies or digital copies of this film actually have about 10 seconds of this clip removed from the film.

that's a shame. I found myself saying "oh lala" in a panicky sense and it always made me laugh. I thought I should find that & youtube it :)
@rosieg69894 ай бұрын
@@etownshawn Yeah, all new editions still shows Marty flipping through the book, but then cuts to him backing up. It removes him looking at the cover. I can't find anywhere that explains why (as this specific image isn't sexual), but what I did find out is that while Oh LàLà is not a real magazine, the image of the model (Venetia Stevenson) IS from a real magazine, the July 1955 issue of Swank. While I can't confirm this I think this specific image was used without permission and either Venetia Stevenson (as she only died in 2022 and this edit occurred about a decade earlier) or Magna Publishing Group (owners of Swank) asked for the brief footage of the photo to be removed. So yeah, in short this is probably one of the few online available record of the original clip, although anyone owning a physical copy from at least the 2002 edition or earlier will also have this scene intact.

Ngl I liked the movie but it was the most emotionally draining movie I’ve ever seen. She did a great job playing a mom character and also an abused character. She sure does have guts to play the character. Idk if I could’ve lol. Also her and I have the exact same birthday so that makes me like her even more. Only difference is she is 5 years older than me.

1206 I see that! hah. Yeah real tough film to sit through. I was so angry when the neighbor failed to realize the light flashings were a call for help. The ending was a relief but still sad because so many years wasted and trauma she'll never fully recover from. ooof

@@etownshawnI’m actually straight but to be fair if I had a woman crush it would be her. Lol and honestly I feel bad for the cast having to deal with that makeup chair for hours and the movie turned out so crappy.

I watched this movie four times before coming to the Internet before speaking on it before bringing what I wanted to say to the media I’ve cried harder watching this than what I’ve seen in the world today that girl I just I don’t know if she will ever see this comment, but I cannot imagine cannot imagine the night the beatings the unbearable things he’s done to her as I’m writing this tears of fall and I just I can’t. I just can’t. I can’t write anymore just couldn’t believe it’s like we all felt her pain and to be hurt by somebody who brought you into this world I just, God sake man why why why why would you do that to her? Why would you not going to get into detail because from the comments? I think we all felt the same watching this movie I just couldn’t believe what I was watching and hurt piece of it all there’s somebody captive in a home nowLooks perfect on the outside can be the most deadliest place on the inside and I’m so sorry she had to endure that. I’m so sorry. Her first life of kids had to be at the hands of. I’m not even going to give him attention. I just wanted to say to her, she is strong you are resilient. You are the definition of strength, I wish I can. You didn’t deserve none of that. Wish you didn’t have to have that happen to you
