I've had one two years use it about three or four times ..went to use it and it won't work... I know it's got power ..do you have to have slush in the ice Hole or does the temperature have to be a certain degrees I don't know why it would just quit working... Barely used😡

Go through their warranty claims on their website and they may replace it for you. They had some manufacturing issues in one of their production runs.

I would say medium heavy and moderate fast. You don’t want too fast of a tip or you can kill the action of the jerkbait. Also keep it around 6’10 or 7 ft for length! Good luck!

My two new favorite baits this season are the magdraft and the yamatanuki. Both super versatile and seem to catch bigger bass out of the group. Great video on how to use the magdraft!

Do you have any tips for how best to use the Neko for bigger fish? 1's and 2's seem to come pretty easy on it for me (as with you, outside weed edges).. wondering if it's just not a bigger fish bait or if there might be some location techniques that up the odds of finding size.

It’s definitely a big fish catcher. You have to be on a body of water with big fish first, obviously. Second, don’t be afraid to use bigger worms than a standard 5 inch senko, although I have caught plenty of 4 and 5 lbers on them. The Yum Genie is one of my favorites at 7.5 inches. Also, fishing deep weed edges on main lake points or humps seem to produce the best fish.

One thing I do to is I will use a drop shot or a swim bait and I like to cast at the cold freshwater streams that trickle down into the river because smallmouth always hang around there

Please make sure you get both hands wet before handling trout. There is a film that protects them from bacteria that is easily removed and having wet hands helps keep the film where it should be.

I would bring separate reels because the saltwater can corrode your fresh water reels. If you do bring them, look up how to soak them after using them to clean them so they don’t corrode.
