My best build would be stalwart, crossbow, crisper, thermites with the peak physique armor. Then I run supply pack with 500kg and orbital rail cannon. You can always plug bug holes with the crossbow and kill armored enemies and the stalwart kills everything else, then the crisper is for tank support or egg missions or bug breaches, then the 500kg and rail cannon takes out all bike titans literally the build covers all bases with keeping you full of ammo and stims

Complaining about how ot does vs ship shields is a bit silly tho, all plasma guns suck at that because shields are immune to explosive damage and thats all plasma guns do almost

The sniper is fun against bots, thats the faction it shines against, it does have some advantages over the purifier like that its projectile speed is faster so gunships and far away enemies are easier to deal aith and you get less damage fall off compared to other plasma guns, but it still needs a normal fire mode or two round burst option, having a full mag dump could also make it good for dealing with hulks from stealth since the full mag in one burst would break a hulk back in one

I can only speak to PC gameplay, but for me, the adjudicator on semi auto is fantastic. Semi auto allows you to conserve ammo and minimize recoil, and if you need full auto just spam click ur mouse

(In my defense i had a horrendous day digging up a sewer) The amount of times I press R to reload, run around a corner, dive, 180, try to fire. Never reloaded. The new sniper rifle sucks balls being 3round burst. Make it fkn single fire. wtf

Two bursts for overseers when the purifier is two full charge shots is criminal. This thing needs a big time buff.

Snipper is just a higher damage higher reload scorcher. Needs a single shot option or better ammo economy. As is i would say the Scorcher is better since you can just rapid fire for the same/better results.

bloodmage here, I've been using 7 Snipers, 2 Warrior from scepter, and 2 Clerics, speed/damage offering, detonate with srs, contagion, and unearth. I can do lots of damage and have about 2k life 4k when doubled and shield is 365 doubled to 730. I can do lots of damage but I die so dang fast. If a map has ground effects and I step on one i'm toast. If I do a map that has blue leveled monsters that give decent xp I just die even faster. Maybe I gotta give in and get resist :( I usually just sit back and spam my arrows all out then contagion and then explode everything and let SRS burn survivors. I was able to get my 5/6 ascendancy nodes after the update with some luck. I put my quality skill gems into my snipers and have them at 20% but maybe this will be better.

They do they even add weapons that have light armor when the things you really wanna kill all have meduim R heavy

The Sniper feels so underwhelming, especially when the Purifier exists. High single target explosive dmg, insane mob clear, 15 round mags. Why would you even bring any other gun? Feels like they hate assault rifles, I don't understand why they keep them so weak since launch. Lib Pen is so fun to use, but you're handicapping yourself so much.

Give it like 15-18 ammo (5-6 bursts) and then I think it'd be perfect

I feel like across the board you could buff ARs without changing how they play fundamentally as such: +5% damage +5% fire rate +5% mag capacity -10% recoil (for all w/above 15) +10% reload speed These changes would be extremely conservative and show them that ARs would not become OP if they got some love. It would be a good start I think. I love ARs, they're my pet weapons, I know they're B tier, but using all the wacky S-tier ones just bore me. Any opinions on the best AR? I feel like it's Tenderizer when you crank RPM to 850 :)

I would like them to add single-shot firing mode for the accelerator rifle + damage buff from 350 to 500 so It's strong as Purifier, but more accurate and better damage from range where Purifier can be used for mobbing via tapping the trigger or charging the shot for more damage, but most importantly AoE damage

Only bad thing I can say about the new SMG from using it is that the iron sights feel like they need to be tweaked. Could be just me, but I think the front post should be more noticeable when ADS.

the best thing that happened to liberty concussive is the drum mag, sure its not the bests weapon out there but not needing to reload 24/7 feels so much better. they should add drum mag to all weapons.

the sniper is a painintheass weapon to use. the submachine gun is like a better version of the knight.

Energy rifle needs more ammo and the option to tap fire, being locked only to use burst fire is just annoying

I think it would be better to use a support weapon, like stalwart or MG, to take down the shields first then use the sniper to down them quick. (With the overseers though it looked like you can just pop em' with the sniper and be done with them.)

Apart from the better DPS on the walker's weak spots, the Purifier does everything else better. Better add clear, better at taking out flyers and stick boys, way better ammo economy and much less reloading, and you can quick fire it to take down shields really fast. It's good, but definitely needs a buff to not just be completely out classed.

Would be nice if I could connect to a game, or got acknowledgement that it's known or being worked on or that i can go fuck myself. Anything really. Instead they pull another "piss the community off then back off" move like they're trying to speedrun EAs last two decades. I queued for 12 hours and played for five minutes one day in particular. This is bullshit.

I'll be honest, I like the sniper but only as a counter against the jetpack dudes and the staff bois. You can get 1 and a half kills per mag with it and it kills fast, which is not too bad. One burst more and it could take down 2 bigger dudes and it would feel a lot better. I really, really would like a bolt-action rifle as a primary. Not a challenge weapon, but an actually semi-slow, decent medium pen or heavy pen shot (if we're to have a heavy pen primary, it's GOTTA be a sniper-type rifle, it just makes sense).
