I used to take a bunch of different Nootropics (choline, alpha GPC and a few others at different times) when i was in high paced jobs and doing a lot and did make a difference but you really needed to remember to eat/take breaks keep hydrated or your brain would burn out (never did things like modafinil) but was interesting after having a head injury where they were actually recommended but tend to mess me up and take more out of me (drained and longer to recover) - think there is a good balance and taking the right things to supplement the natural neurotransmitters that we loose over time but like everything the good things stop being cheap soon as there is a large market for them and some countries also ban ones that are well tested and beneficial because big pharma doesn't want them.

That's not how nootropics work. It takes weeks or a month depending on the individual to work. Also, some days you feel slower, some days faster. It really depends on the brain and body.

It's interesting but the premise is flawed. Movie sword fighting is not attempting to imitate fencing. Fencing is a sport. Just like jiu jitsu is a sport. But a jiu jitsu match isn't an actual street fight. Fencing isn't an actual sword fight. Movie sword fighting is attempting to replicate actual sword fights.

The biggest reason for the fight ending up the way it did is because of the size difference the broadsword and rapier are similar length but your opponent is a foot taller than you so his extension will naturally be longer which is funny because the rapier is supposed to be the real reaching weapon.
