Seeing as how it looks like the tradfri remote has been discontinued on the IKEA website, is there another remote available from IKEA that works like the stybar?

@@mskelseycarroll Hm, I was afraid that might happen considering I made this video to replace older tutorials using the old IKEA light strips. Unfortunately, I don't know, but be sure to check new remotes to see if they are compatible with other products.

the companies are from china and they don't give two shits about the laws. hasbro is a billionaire dollar company. they can make these they just choose to make cheap toys for mass consumption and though their mp or mpg lines are good and comparable to the third party their prices are insane. people like their toon accurate toys that doesn't cost what the mainline is charging. doesn't matter there are die hards that will only buy official and i feel bad for them cuz they are missing out on some great designs and toys

@@2006chunming Yes, I realized while editing the video that I missed the butterfly joints. Although the XTB has explicit butterfly joints, the FT technically as well due to transformation, so you could probably use it to cheat a pose.

have you had any problems with its shoulder ratchets? mine's right arm lost its click out of nowhere, and I've seen other people online with the same problem

Since I was aware of the potentially problematic shoulder ratchets, I've never used them. I only use the friction hinge on the outer shoulder joint. The joint is made of a softer plastic that is more prone to permanent deformation, so I would definitely not advise using it, especially since the friction joint gives so much range already.

Those aren't "third-party", no matter how much the fandom wants to claim otherwise. They're bootlegs. _Good_ bootlegs, but still bootlegs. To actually be third-party, they would have to have a license.

Becuase ft was so expensive and still isn’t finished a long while ago during the 3rd party menasor wars I went with gravestone unfortunately while I did enjoy him quite a bit the trailer reviews completely scared me away as well as I think dx9 looks a lot more cartoony and they are such a more fun useable team and have such an amazing hand feel it’s crazy the combiner especially without Capone is completely solid such an amazing combiner so glad dx9 isn’t dead and are making that sideswipe figure he looks great

@crumplezone4286 I'll always stand by all of XTB's bots looking great and being bretty solid for the most part. It's really just the combiner that kills the whole thing. FansToys, despite taking a business decade, really knocked Superion out of the park which gave me enough confidence to buy into their set of stunticons. I like DX9 as a company, but their set just look to immature for my taste. They look like toys, which sounds kinda stupid, but I want my figures to be more heroic.

I completely see where your coming from and totally agree although I still prefer the proportions on dx9 compared to xtb I would have went with fanstoys if I knew how good the superior turned out becuase seeing reviews that thing is crazy impressive

Thank you brother, I always wanted to see that comparison.. unfortunately I couldn't afford both of them.. I grabbed the X-transbots one. In a future video could you compare the motormaster from fanstoys with the commander stacks from x-transbots?

X-Transbots Menasor was one of the first 3rd party "figures" to restart my collection. I've had the XTB Motormaster for a few years now, and I still think it looks as good, if not, better than the FansToys, so I think you made a good choice! If I make a video on FT Motormaster, I'll definitely include a comparison with XTB Commander Stack. They're both pretty impressive figures.

They just choose not to take action against the companies because it will cost money that gets taken away from actually producing their own figures as well as ruin their reputation with their own fans. It just isn't worth the trouble, even if they have legal grounds for a case.

At first I thought it was just cheap “Chinese knockoffs” until I got a hold of one and realized it is even better quality than official masterpiece transformers. Then I realized the official ones are also made in China. They’re just more expensive because of the up charge from Hasbro and Takara.

Alright, fine, you twisted my arm, I’ll buy the KO of MPM 15. :) There’re a couple of KOs of Red Dasher out now. One is slightly smaller than the original and comes with a Ferrari logo sticker sheet, the other is a one-to-one copy but they changed some silver bits to black. They’re both less than half the price of Red Dasher.
