This is beautiful! I want to make giant feather plumage and it needs to be able to fold into a suitcase. Could one bend this enough with the wire you use that it could be reformed once out of suitcase? Thank you for this creative video.

Amazing tutorial, the wings look great and it inspired me to be a butterfly for Halloween. But I will also like to mention and recommend wearing a mask for anyone who decides to sand the fibers, as they are glass and can cause irritation to the lungs.

By far the most beautiful fairy wings I’ve seen being made! Not only was I glad to find some not being made from cellophane but also without the back to go in a corset as I won’t be wearing one. This technique would make the most incredible set of dragon wings 😍 these fairly wings are absolutely gorgeous. I've designed my own wings and ordered the fabric, they will look completely different to this pair but after seeing these I might just ahve to make another set 😍 how does one display/strore multiple sets of wings? 😂 I'm also making a mini set of wings for my daughter AND a set or two of itty bitty wings for her dolls (dinkum dolls). Wall mounted? 😅😂 wings everywhere i guess!

These hands are very reminiscent of the 1946 French movie version of Beauty and the Beast. It was by Jean Cocteau, called La Belle et la Bette. (Not the modern French version of the story.) In that Black and White movie, there are hands coming out of the walls holding candelabras, moving the candles as Belle walks through the halls. It's very surreal, creepy, and wonderful!! I highly recommend people check it out!

I know im a bit late to this, but perhaps this will help someone else. Burda expects you to just know the basics. So, the patterns are short. 21:03 attach front to back like step 4 just means the new back, and front are different but attach just like before.
