Its funny you mention heft of an item equalling quality in your mind, I feel the same way. I bought a skull shaped cheese board made of marble yesterday and was impressed by the heft. Weight meant it wasn't cheap fake marble. I feel like things of poor quality are usually light/hollow, so our brains are like oh its heavy so its good.

I squealed out loud when i saw the set!!! I've been doing calligraphy since I was a middle schooler. You are supposed to hold the pen, so that the nib is at a 45 degree angle in your right hand. (I know you're a leftie so not sure how that would even work, if at all?? When at a 45 degree angle the nib glides easily from SW to NE direction or NE to SW. The thick parts of the letters are formed by dragging it from top to bottom (not reverse) or left right (not reverse). If you try to go in reverse the nib doesn't glide from the ink, it catches like trying to shovel snow off a gravel road and expecting it to be smooth....not gonna work too well. The tiny nib worked because there was much less surface area drag on the paper. Wtched as you drill something right next to your hand....can you please for the love of my sanity start using some clamps for this stuff? I'm begging you!! OMG you poor thing... for future Reference, just use Boogie. He told me it's ok!! ::wink:: The dip pen only comes in that one color. Super bummed. I'll look & see what else they have though. ;-) Loved this sOOOOOO much. :-D

Haha Boogie would have been a lot easier 😂 Yeah I need a better place to do drilling, the drill was going pretty slow though (footage was sped up). I'll have to practice my calligraphy but it is tricky when you're a lefty 😊
