Its just a recruiting incentive. Star Citizen is a grassroots development. The same advertising you offered to others to use your referral code is the same way huge social media faces use to recruit players also. They are just able to reach thousands. No dark secret cabal pushing a weird scheme. Its just a marketing strategy with an incentive is all. Also, a new player can complete a mission and have 50k auec in mins. 😊

I’m sorry, I am confused. What is it exactly that you are “exposing” here? The titles says the “truth” about the referral program like there is some dark secret, but then you go on to read info off of the publicly available website they use to share all the details on the referral program. That page is literally linked to all their social posts and emails about the referral program. Also, they post the leader board right there. You’re acting like this is some leaked info when you’re looking directly at their website. Content creators didn’t make the program. I don’t even see those guys using their codes anymore in their content. What is the point of this?

They did a survey a while back and the overabundance of and terrible quality of the controls was my biggest gripe. I hate a bidirectional throttle. Let me flip a switch to control the direction. Learn some lessons from X4 and war thunder. Its not that hard. Ffs

For those complaining about having to rebind your settings when you come in every couple of years: 1) Setup your Axis settings in SC 2) Use the HOTAS software to map the buttons to keybinds, e.g. Button 4 = C, Button 5 = G, etc. You should also be able to name the buttons, e.g. "Couple/Decouple", this then makes it VERY easy to update the bindings if SC moves something to a different binding or you want to move your bindings around, as well as refresh yourself on what each button was for when only playing occasionaly like I do. I bought my X-55 mid year 2 when SC should be "Released at the end of the year", and I pop back in about once a year. That said, over time I've definitely found that I prefer flying decoupled and once it really is close to being released then I'll be switching to HOSAS.

Correct settings are: DO NOT SPEND ANY MORE MONEY ON STARSCAM UNTIL FULL RELEASE.

Thanks ,it drives me crazy having to rebind every time I decide to give this mess another try. and they've changed stuff around again so not even my file saves work... I like to also have forwards backwards on my stick ,thumb stick for landing precision maneuvering too and hope i can find the invert for that ;) another day ! I'm done with the long wasted hours rebinding for today . Plus i thought it would be a good idea to do my testing as i set my spawn at seraphim station where there turns out to be an event where everyone is shooting you XD

I have random actions performed by my X56 throttle module. I have chaff and doors open buttons added to the throttle which randomly activate. Do you know a fix for this. Thenks for the Vid BTW

I logged on after 5 years with my old bindings, crashed my ship, then logged off. They added more throttle settings that I didn’t know about.
