nice work nev as you know I just done a video on the same machine and I got it running but the blades were not moving I went to start it last week and now it won't start and also it is not priming any help much appreciated mate

It never fails....the moment you take your eyes off a piece of land it grows weeds a meter high! Good on you for quitting the drink! I let that bad habit go completely many, many years ago and I don't miss it one bit. Nothing good about it--leads to bad health and bad relationships mostly. A policeman friend once told me that 90% of the calls are alcohol-related in some way! All the best to you, Nev! Nice to see you out working in the fields. Nice area!

That part of the field has always been a problem with weeds, and they spread into the garden side so going to try and keep it under control, still off the drink and not missed it one bit. Thank you for watching and the comment 👍

I didn't know these were available. I may just get one for cleaning concrete walkways. I like the "Back-Saver" handle on the trimmer! Take care, Nev...I missed this video somehow.

I have now a wire wheel i was given, so i will be trying that at some point, best money i spent was getting the back-saver, strimmer is a lot more better to use. Thank you for watching and the comment 👍

We’ve used a similar machine for about three years on domestic work. A total waste of time, money and effort simply sharpening or replacing the blades unless you check and / or sharpen / replace the anvil as well. Those twigs are not representative of what these machines can cop with.

Thank you for watching and the comment, i do find chipping hardwood dose blunt the blades quick, and that i don't really mind sharpening them, i have done 4`` branches with it and it did ok for the size of machine, thank you for your opinion it helps other people out if they read this 👍

Looks really neat and tidy with everything chipped. The electric fence is something to avoid. My friend raises cattle and he had those fences and they offer quite a jolt! His dog touched it by mistake and hid for a week afterwards. Take care and remember not to pee on the fence.🎉😂😅

I've got this model. Only 6 months old. Stopped working. Does not even try whe. You pull the starter. I've changed spark plug and cleaned carburetor. I'm lost now? Any ideas. All looks really clean.

Is it fresh petrol, Have you got a spark, If you have carb cleaner spray some into the carb and see if it just pops off, if it does sounds like a dirty carb, check the safety switch

New spark plug too. It's so weird! So you think a carburettor cleaner may be required? When I pull the cord it doesnt even try. So weird.

@@jamiedonnelly5337 whats the compression like when you pull it over, is the new spark plug sparking, take off the air filter cover remove the filter and spray some carb cleaner or a small amount of fuel into the carb and give it a pull over starting it see if it fires, if you could take a short video of when your trying it and email it to me [email protected]

HI Mike, done ok, but you can't put too much pressure on as it makes the clutch struggle. I'm going to leave the path now till next summer and pressure wash it first, then try it.Thank you for watching, and the comment 👍

How did you get the new fuel lines in? The lines pass through the top of the tank and act as a seal. Honestly, I am effing stumped and frustrated with it

Picking fuel pipe just a little bigger than the hole cut, cut a point on end then a small amount of oil and push through and pull with long nose pinches keeping them close to the top of the tank, they are awkward to do
