I can appreciate this tiny home on it's merits. BUT - a couple issues - No washer/dryer AND I don't even see a fridge in the kitchen. What gives? how can you be a home owner and have to go to the laundromat to wash clothes, and no refrigerator, or even a place for it. I think this floor plan needs a bit of tweaking and customizing to say the least !!!

I think there is no need for a 2nd toilet area even though the idea of having it incorporated with the laundry is good in such a small house. However considering the lack of room in the kitchen for food to be stored, I would put the washing machine in one of the ground level cupboards in the kitchen and then utilize that whole room as a pantry to the side of the kitchen. I know people like to cater to guests with a downstairs loo but that place is far too small to be accommodating 2 bathroom areas. Also it said 1 bedroom but there are 2 so theoretically it could be a couple and 2 kids, meaning four living in such a small area. Although a well thought out plan with bunk beds, I still don't think this type of home is right for a family of 4. No room to grow and where would the kids play or do their homework? No this place is ideal for a couple alone and the 2nd bedroom could be used as a crafts room or a storage room. Another suggestion would be to add a carport onto the side but there is not much room on that piece of land. One other little thing noticed at the beginning of the video is that there is no railing to support people going up the stairs, especially in that lower area before turning. People have disabilities and some people are unfit and can lose their balance, so it is a safety issue to leave it that way. I do however like the design very much.

Is there space in the Kitchen for a refrigerator or is that cabinet the refrigerator, Also in a small house like that it would be better to have an enclosed front porch to act as a windbreak when opening the front door. In cold weather opening a doon in such a small house would cool it right down.

Nice try, but I don't see you getting there...too many windows, many in the wrong spot. Lack of closets and/or more storage is a weakness. Bedroom needs at least four feet more width. If you use basic physics, the best heated volume is a cube. So widen the building a little and solve all your problems.

Imagine if the government built a small city with this kind of houses for the homeless. Creating a workplace at the center of it all.
