Noco chargers seem do good job at charging batteries I charged a sealed flooded battery a friend had sat 2 years surprisingly tested at 12.1 volts , I used a noco 1 amp. Charger let it go till showed a solid green light it took 5 days to charge it showed solid green , has battery tested it passed still good condition , i got noco 1 ,5 and 10 amp charger all worked well for me

I have the 1600 version, which is basically the same. I've had it for 23 years. It is fine for woody material, but woe betide trying to get leafy branches to go through without clogging. The design is pretty rubbish, really. Bosch designers must have known about the clogging problem, yet they designed a machine that is difficult and time-consuming to take apart in order to remove a blockage. Health and safety, I suppose. Adults cannot be trusted to clear a blockage in the most straightforward manner by disconnecting power, then removing the top chute. But I'm now a dab hand at removing the chute! Just to make life even more difficult, the Bosch designers specified special screws to fix the chute to the body. These screws require a special screwdriver. However, I've replaced my screws with bog-standard Philips screws. Having removed the screws holding the chute, it can be lifted off. Then remove some (not all) of the side screws that hold the two halves of the body together. Now you can prise them apart and remove the inner chute. Then it's easy to remove the blockage. Couldn't Bosch have done a better job? Well, of course, but maybe they expect customers to just buy a new shredder when the current one is clogged up solid. Note that once the blockage has been cleared, the shredder still works as well as it did when brand new 23 years ago. And it is super quiet!

Hi. We bought third this year and after couple weeks is leaking with high pressure. What we should do? It’s impossible that the heater is broken because they almost brand new.

Thanks a lot. Got a speaker fixed that had a ticking sound. Changed the 10 uF caps near the output and it works fine. I would not have gotten that fault even with lots of fault finding. Thanks again.

There is something wrong with this MXS, First, the LEDs should light up sequentially, no matter what, Second, there is something wrong with the 5th LED, if the 6th LED is on, the 5th LED should be on as well, and the 6th LED is recond, if this mode is not selected, it will skip and light this LED. There is also the possibility that only the 1st, 2nd or 5th LED will light up and this is a charging error. Third, LED 8 lights up after 10 days, not earlier. Fourth, I don't know if your tester emulates this, but most of these "smart" chargers measure the internal resistance of the battery at some point, so without this it won't work as it should.

I always thought a 2-3 volt reading 12v lead acid battery is a dead damaged battery. Maybe to "try" and get you going again when your stuck, but I think a replacement then would be required.

Excellent clear explanation and video. I've watched a few of your KZbins about repairs and find them better than watching TV! I've used this fix on one tumble drier and it worked great. However, I now have an AEG drier which just shows no signs of life at all. I replaced just the fused resistor first and not the chip, but it instantly burnt through. I then replaced the chip and resistor and nothing burnt up but also nothing happened! No 15V on the output for the control panel. I tried tracing it back and it seemed the diode feeding the capacitor was not letting anything through (even though it was showing fine with the multimeter on diode test). I've replaced that diode with one that looked suitably high enough current (that I took off some other spare circuit board). I put power to the board and immediately the fusable resistor blew again! Any ideas what it could be or what I could do to test? Could it be the diode I used wasn't suitable? I've desoldered the transformer/coil and checked this - nothing looking burnt out and the resistance for the main feed into it was something like 0.4 ohms - would this be right? I'm lost now other than replacing the chip and resistor again and watching it go up in smoke, but it seems something downstream must be causing a short... Help!

Thanks, you just saved me a ton of money, I've already had my dryer apart one with suggestions of fluff in the machine, despite vacuuming it I kept getting the eh0 error, I've been switching off the machine and then it got to the point where it wouldn't start. Once I had a look at the pcb, I could clearly see cracked solder joints on two of the relays. The surface mount soldering was poor quality, I didn't touch that, but reflowing the joints sorted the problem and now I should get another eight years out of what was an expensive top end dryer when I bought it....

No, not a usual fault, could be a problem with the dock or with one or more of the 40 springs contacts under the docking module. Make sure the dock works properly. The power quite often resets if there is a blown amp chip in the dock. When it powers up to drive the bass speaker the power cuts out and the system resets the DC supply to the cradle area,

Hi, my CTEK MXS 10 has stopped working, it was an unscrewable one, early production according to CTEK. They've told me it's broken. So I took it apart and can see all the info you require. The part you've asked for says ICE3B0565J, then H1652L2B, then XK612051X03. I can also read the ident on the other parts that were scrubbed in your video. Is there someway I can contact you other than this comment section. I'd like to get my charger fixed if possible, I hate just chucking stuff away.
