I love listening to these. Reminds me of my old teammates and friends I grew up playing this hobby with. It's like I'm sitting with my buddies again in a deep friendly conversation about our favorite hobby.

16:41 Haha I bet it also helps to be huge 😂 To be honest I’ve got a couple milsims lined up in 2 months from now and I’ve set a goal to exercise more and better prepare my physical health. I think it’s an aspect worth mentioning in the milsim videos. Regardless, I’ve already been to a couple milsims but I want to become more efficient with my gear and thus I’m lurking a lot around your channel (have been for years anyway). You guys do great work and I love your informative and mindful videos! Keep it up !

.30g is the standard here shooting at roughly 100ms, basically 1.7J full auto. Everyone reaches up to at least 50m, most 60m but then it takes off. Joule limits for snipers here is 3.2J with a minimum safety distance of 30m and reaching that extra 10-30m with accuracy is the main advantage you get from snipers. Stealth is secondary to this.

In my country, prices of entry level airsoftgun increased as hell the 4 last year. The Cyma metal AK cost now as much as an E&L essential with mosfet and a QD spring GB . So it's no longuer a real question...

as a guy who never played at milsim west but have a fair amount of experience in french milsim wich is very close in many ways, i absolutely love playing as militia, it's more intuitive when you're a newcomer, you have virtualy no limitation for your loadouts and you can pull a lot of crazy kit both visualy and in terms of playstyle all that for a fraction of what a NATO/RUSFOR kit would have coasted you, and you know what the best part is? building that kit is so easy and cheap that you can spend all the rest of your time and efforts on the non combat stuff such as your sleeping gear and food wich will make your life 10 times easier than the one who'll most likely freeze to death in theyr highspeed low drad operator kit that coasted them so much they didn't had any budget left for a woobie and a tarp

Iv been going to REV events for a few years now. Airsoft in a roleplay setting can be such a cool combo when done right. Its cool to see more games with larpy mechanics jump into the scene! Be a nerd, have fun!

I love that you brought this up. I don't get to go too many role-playing events where I live and some people just don't get it. They end up ruining the events treating them just like normal skirmish but when it all falls together, nothing is better.

My first LARP-y Milsim, I decided to go as a goat herder, and would wonder around being annoyed at the bluefor troops for being in my way. By the end of day 1, they stopped searching me - which came in very handy when it came to snuggling across checkpoints. A great weekend,

As a huge cyma fan boy. Love their aks. Used them for over 14 years. Recommended them to everyone. I held a few lcts for the first time the other day. The next day I ordered one. Cyma is fantastic... For the money. But they don't even come close to a lct externally.

This game was amazing. The atmosphere with the vehicles and the blank fire really set the stage of a more serious match. I think the thing that really set this apart from other events was the command staff. They had Gun Gamers staff in key leadership roles from Commanding Officer to Squad leader. I have had inept command in the past at more serious events and it can totally ruin the experience. This is not the case at Gun Gamers Productions. The leadership was incredible. Our Commanding Officer made smart decisions that did not result in suicidal charges. He rotated squads well so that even those who did not physically prepare for the event could keep up through the entire 24hr duration. My squad Leader Patrick was a baller. He made smart decisions and gave a decent amount of responsibility to the fire team leaders so that we could make quick decisions during the battle and give advice on future movements. Patrick really made the event for me, he was always asking how we were doing on supplies and just overall had a great attitude. He taught us many things about tactics and mapping which led us to become increasingly effective as the event went on. Thanks guys, we need more events like this!

Ilm almost 50 YO and I’ve been playing Airsoft for 5 years. I played paintball when I was younger and add more fare share of DND and other pen and papers games. I’m part of La Compagnie des Griffons Blancs (White Gryphons Company) here in Québec and we focus on the role play element in our games. We have NPC’s, Tactical Force (the good guys), Op-Force (the bad guys) and something civilians. The games are missions oriented. We use comms, drones, vehicles and props. When I play as Op-Force I wear black with an AK and I use an accent, I swear and I « insult » the Tactical Force, all in the spirit of the role play! It’s so much fun this way and more immersive! Keep on larping!!!

I've LARPed in multiple states (PA, NY, DE, MD, NJ, VA). While there are similarities, there's also differences. These differences led me to leave that community completely, and stick to airsoft. I cringe when people compare the two.
