Does this then create the same ID for the post survery to link the data for a pre-post test?
@LeeFletcherSC3 ай бұрын
No, the RecipientID is created when you add a contact. However, if you distribute the survey using personal links, the recipient's link would carry their RecipientID and the survey flow would add the RecipientID to the response.

This is great , it's good ways to enhance learning to the new generations of leaners and eliminate higher rates of school dropouts in Namibia since it is accessible anywhere.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! 👏👏 For my thesis I had to create a diary study using qualtrics. This tutorial made it possible for participants to fill in several surveys over time and then link their responses using the recipient ID, without participants having to remember or fill in codes. Thank you, this made my day!

On what criteria do you decide who gets more boxes? What iff there are too many short height people? It might happen that only the privileged short height people get boxes but the last in the queue will still not get anything. I don't have much context on how it works in your country. I understand the problem but do not fully understand your solution.

Hello, thanks for watching this video I have reached out to Dr. Quaye to see if he can provide a more detailed answer for your questions. I will post his response here (or he may choose to respond here). In the meantime, you can view the full webinar which provides more of the details behind these concepts. The video is titled, Creating Equitable Environments for Fostering Student Engagement, found here >> kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5DLnauDfbtqbNU Sincerely, Connie Senior Marketing Coordinator

--- Posted on Behalf of Dr. Stephen Quaye --- The criteria we use to decide who gets more boxes is based on asking the question: what do people need to succeed? The point is that everyone needs something different and that some people start several steps ahead (or behind) of others because of their social identities. So, we need to pay attention to what knowledge, experiences, and backgrounds people have had and ask ourselves: what do they need, based on those criteria, to succeed? Then, we work to remove the barriers that are getting in the way of them succeeding in an equitable way - meaning, they might need different support than others. I hope that helps. Thanks for your question.

Copy surveys will give you a blank survey without any data. If you are leaving NDSU the surveys should be transferred into another user account instead copying surveys.

Hi there, this video is created for the Qualtrics survey software. Students, faculty, and staff at North Dakota State University can all register for a FREE account through NDSU but I also believe that Qualtrics has a free option for other users as well. :)

How you sign the consent form?
@NDSUOTL2 жыл бұрын
Once you hit the "next" button on the consent form, it is assumed that you are providing consent. Alternately, form could be set up as a multiple choice question asking for their consent with a yes or no answer. The "no" option needs a skip logic attached to it. Then if someone hits "yes" they continue on to the survey. If someone hits "no" they are removed from the survey.

I’m a skateboarder, you go pro when you land. There are no participation trophies. If he never landed that board he failed. And as subjective as our perception is. If you’re good at your professions you will recognize the spectrum of performance.

I made my survey and would like to send it out to my students. A link was given, can I distribute by just sending everyone the link? Or are there additional steps?
@NDSUOTL4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kate, You can use that distribution link and send it out to all of your students unless you have parameters like it being an anonymous survey. Another option is to send it out using the email feature, which allows you to email each survey taker with a link that is individual to them. If you are expecting anonymous responses or want to limit who can take the survey, you will need to use the email feature. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi Curvonna, I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer from the department. Sincerely, Connie // NDSU Office of Teaching and Learning.

Here is what the NDSU Gerontology faculty said about your question. "The practicum requirement cannot be fulfilled by simply continuing to do the same work at the same job that you are doing now. It may be fulfilled at a different organization or at your current place of employment, provided that we can contract with your employer to allow you to take on a new role or project that is different and separate from your regular duties." If you have additional questions email them to [email protected] and I will refer you to a program advisor.

Where can I find more information about this online degree program? Go to the following website: www.ndsu.edu/dce/degrees/graduate/mshdfs_gerontology
@NDSUOTL10 жыл бұрын
Why go into the gerontology field? The gerontology master’s program will prepare you for an array of different careers working with older adults including: health care, nursing, social work, counseling, hospice, working in government sectors, long-term care in administration and recreation, adult education, business, hospitality and travel. There will be a tremendous growth in career opportunities within the field in the next few decades. Organizations are especially looking for individuals with advanced degrees.

Is there a required degree to be admitted into the program? There is not a required undergraduate degree to be admitted. Most of the coursework is focused on social sciences, so some experience as an undergraduate with social science courses would be helpful.
@NDSUOTL10 жыл бұрын
Is the program accredited? There is no accreditation in the gerontology field. Online degrees and classes offered through NDSU Distance and Continuing Education are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and are approved through the academic departments and colleges at NDSU.

I am employed full time and have a family, how many credits would you recommend I take each semester? For students with family and employment obligations we recommend taking three credits (one course) the first semester. Then students are able to see how it works with their schedule and can determine how many courses they are able to take each semester.
@NDSUOTL10 жыл бұрын
Can I transfer previous graduate coursework into this program? You can transfer up to nine credits into the Gerontology Master’s program if they are relevant to the program. The syllabus of those courses will need to be provided to the Department of Human Development and Family Science graduate program in order to determine if the coursework is relevant.
@NDSUOTL10 жыл бұрын
How long is the gerontology program? A student can earn a Gerontology Master’s degree in two years as a full-time student taking nine credits a semester. Students can take three, six or nine credits a semester.
@NDSUOTL10 жыл бұрын
What is the difference between earning a graduate certificate and earning a master’s degree in gerontology? A certificate is a way of showing that you have completed a coherent set of courses within a certain field. The Gerontology Graduate Certificate covers a subset of courses that are in the master’s program. If you are interested in the certificate program and decide to continue on to the master’s program the courses you take for the certificate program will apply.
