🤣 I was running late to work. Went to grab my phone and when I looked up, the traffic came to a stop on the freeway. I braked hard but it was too late. I hit the hitch on a work van. Absolutely nothing happened to the van but my car took a lot of damage. The guy told me I could take off and he wasn’t gonna report it. At that same moment a highway patrol pulled over and gave me a citation for driving too close.

I have a 2003 eu3 civic hatch. After not getting used much for a few months its started idling at 1500-2000rpm. Will sometimes drop back down to around 1000rpm then surge back up to 2000. Do you think its likely pulling this of and cleaning it might fix it? It happened briefly a few years ago but went away after a bit of an "italian tune up". Not getting any CEL.

This is what the manual says: Tighten the bolt to 69 N-m (7.0 kgf-m, 51 lbf-ft). If the pulley bolt or crankshaft are new, tighten the bolt to 177 N-m (18.0 kgf-m, 130 lbf-ft), then remove the bolt and tighten it to 69 N-m (7.0 kgf-m, 51 lbf-ft). Then tighten the bolt an additional 90 °.

Great video. Thanks man. I just wanted to add this: if, by chance, the alternator or any of the pulleys need changing, it's SO much easier with radiator being out of the van. Can you do this with the injector out of the car? Use a 12v battery to connect to the injector to open it, like the old school injectors?
@JCAUTOMOTIVE4444
@JCAUTOMOTIVE4444 7 ай бұрын
I'm trying to think about this question. I'm sure you could. but I'm not sure how well it would work being direct injection. i believe with direct injection it requires over 2000 PSI and that's why the secondary high pressure fuel pump is required. In the past, I've put the Injectors in an ultrasonic cleaner and opened them and it seemed to work. So I believe it could work

I got the cat changed last year for catalytic converter P0420 error on my 2016 CRV. 6 months down the line I got the P0139 error. I changed the downstream sensor this time. 2000 miles more I again got the same P0139 error. I called Denso and they sent me a new sensor because of warranty. I called the mechanic to reinstall the downstream sensor and he says P0139 error may be because of upstream sensor also and recommending to replace upstream sensor. I am so confused this is driving me nuts!!!!!!
@JCAUTOMOTIVE4444
@JCAUTOMOTIVE4444 7 ай бұрын
Gotta check for any bad connection or bad wires. Exhaust leaks will cause it also. But I don’t think an upstream sensor would cause that. It would have given you a different code.

@@JCAUTOMOTIVE4444 I got this diagnosed at the dealer and he replaced the downstream sensor. I did ask him if there were any exhaust leaks and he said that wasn’t the case. I think he said 1 year 12000 miles warranty on parts and labor to be honored at any dealer.

The only true way to tell would be checking voltage. The manual says if your voltage stays between 0.3-0.8V for 2 minutes at 3000 RPM to change out the sensor.
