Etsy just took my 5 stars badge and 3 listings down and sent me a generic email about "one more time and you are suspended", my business is 100% not violating any policies (heavily hand altered wigs with my own pictures that were stollen by Chinese sites before), I suspect competition reporting my shop. And there is NOTHING I can do as every time I reach to customer service wanting to prove to them that my business is 100% mine and honest, I don`t get any answer. 5 years of hard work and 10s of thousands $$ gone. Why not just sell $hit at Amazon at this point and save all the hustle?

Great. As someone who comes to etsy to support actual artists and makers, it's infuriating to have to go through 20 pages of AI art to find something actually created by an artist. You could spend your time actuallly learning a skill/craft instead of spewing this obnoxious stuff. As if aliexpress dropshipping wasn't cluttering the platform enough.

I think people forget this type of business takes time to scale up, you need to invest in ads or some way to optimise listings. Once you get traction and start gaining sales and reviews you’ll scale up the search results and then the sales will come organically. You have to be consistent and patient with this type of business, if you expect good results straight away, you’ll lose very quickly!

So with your super low price, your ad cost, the insane fees from Etsy, you are losing money. If you showed your payment account, you could show JUST the loss you have on Etsy alone. Then factor in your cost of goods sold from your POD supplier and you're at an even bigger loss. Bottomline Etsy SUCKS. I do not understand why anyone would bother trying to sell on it. Spending a month to lose money just makes no sense. The Etsy sellers who spend a year trying and failing yet keep trying to justify all their wasted time and money is astounding. But I guess all those Etsy KZbinrs with 50k to 200k subscribers know something we all don't? LOL
