Thanks! This is great advice. I'm from the EU. My relatively new etsy shop got banned. After months of no sales, I finally had a shirt that sold 3x in two days (and even 11 more people had my product in their cart), the day after that, my shop got suspended... I appealed, got denied... I responded to that email and I'm now waiting for a response, but otherwise I will definitely give this a try. Will give an update.... Also... The first order that I got, because Etsy suspended my account, the person that ordered from me opened a case against me saying: bummer that this item is no longer available and requested a refund (and got a full refund). I was devastated, and there was nothing I could do. I cancelled the order at my production partner. The weird part is, that this order is still open. And it says that I'm to late shipping the item out... I don't know why Etsy gives a full refund, but does'nt cancel the order. Do they believe I will ship the item for free?🤔 I can't cancel it myself because I'm suspended... This makes my account look bad... 😢

Etsy Cancelled my account and said I was related to 2 other accounts. I have only ever had one other account that I never sold from, years ago. There is no way whatsoever I am related to anyone else! Pisses me off! It's like being accused of a crime you didn't commit.

I tried your method. Appealed first through Etsy, then after 2 weeks of not hearing back, I filed a complaint with BBB. I just noticed today, that my account was up and running, and it looks like as of 7/7 when I submitted the BBB complaint. However, when I went to start listing new products to my shop, within minutes I was suspended again, for the same reason (messaging). I had no messaging violations whatsoever. So I filed another appeal. But they have yet to respond to my first BBB complaint.

It is not true that is working..I have wrote to Better Business Bureaux and send them letter. Etsy answered and rejected 2 times their letter with the same AI answer. So it did not help

Sounds like you broke their rules that’s why it didn’t work. If you got banned but never broke their TOS you should get your account back. I know at least 5 people who got their accounts back with this method
