Taekwondo is flawed. I have taken it for 4 years at a gym that also teaches basics in Hapkido and Boxing and it’s so much better than regular Taekwondo. Regular Taekwondo by itself is only good against other Taekwondo fighters unless it’s combined with something else

@sneaker1ose251 Definitely not a field day lmao. Just quickly learning the sprawl is insufficient to counter a superior wrestler. Striking focused fighters like to cope that the uppercut and sprawl are all you need to keep a fight standing, but the reality is the better wrestler generally dictates if the fight stays standing.

@ChristosGkoutzounis He is definitely not as seasoned as I would expect someone to be after 4 years of training. That being said, I think he gets an unfair amount of hate from wannabee boxers online. The video is 30 seconds long, and only like 15 seconds are standing.

It be interesting to see a comparably trained boxer. A purple belt takes like 5 to 6 years of training. I doubt that guy had more then 5 to 6 months of boxing.
