Actually showing up is the least one can do. Cleaning can be subcontracted out but its not an hvacr technicians job to automatically do that. They showed up. Thats what they are paid to do. They diagnosed, They repaired, replaced or put together a quote. Cleaning doesn't fit with any of that.

Foam by the draft hood on conventional? I always put the foam on the T&P and the drain to prevent heat leak. Id be afraid of back drafting but you learn something new every dya.

We use to clean and adjust. They do sell burner kits! BUT NOBODY CARES ! 😂😂😂 You better check the available combustion air requirements for that boiler in that basement or you won’t solve the problem. They don’t carbonize or roll out without a fuel or air miss adjustment. If it ain’t leak’n it CAN be fixed!😂🎉🎉🎉

@@NYCHvac there’s a lot of controversy over that. The supply house water heater weighs 10 lbs more than the one from Lowe’s. Regardless I only spent 1k to replace the tank, water and gas connectors. Wasn’t too expensive
