I did a 120hp hammer kit in my 883 loved that bike, great for 1/4 mile strips and burning other bikes on the street. I ride a roadster 1200 now and having a blast in the mountain passes, I'll wear the top end out and do another hammer kit on the roadster at some point!! 👍👍👍

I bought an 883. 2021 deadwood green 4000 miles. I rode it everywhere for 6 months just to get comfortable with it. I took it on 342 mile poker run. I was the only one who had an 883.. I kept up with no problems and I was concerned about the fuel but every time they stopped I still had gas left. I started in the middle of the group and ended up the first one back.😂😂😂 Jan 1st 2024… I’ve got a bigger bike and I still ride the 883. I smile a lot on it because it’s freaking fun

I've got a 883 wit stage 1 kit. It will cruise all day as fast as I need to go. Why be in a hundred mile an hour hurry. I always cruise around 70 or 80. Whats the point of going faster. You're supposed to enjoy the ride, not racing in lemans. I had a ST1300 , faster? Yes, much, but honestly, why do you need it. I pass vehicles just fine. My 883 will top over a hundred, thats good enough for passing, under normal riding.

Hey everybody, I feel like this goes without saying, but this fix isn't the best way to do it, only an option. If you aren't sure, just dont do it. I don't know your bike or your wiring, nor do I even own a sportster anymore. It worked perfectly for me and the time I used it, so I cannot help troubleshoot issues you may have. Ride safe y'all.

In 2022 I found a 2003 882 with 252 miles on it. Between the big construction job at work where we lost 200 parking spaces, and the price of gas pegging $4 per gallon in Maryland, I could not say no. The only previous mod to the bike was adding forward controls. I like being able to easily stand up on the pegs as I used to ride in the dirt, so I guess my style of riding might prefer that. Other than that, it's a stock bike. Found your page surfing for mods. Zozzer, you have a nice style of describing your kit.

I repeat do not butcher your wire harnesses like this guy did. You can easily unlock the wires from the plug and remove them. Uncrimp the pin from the wire if you really can't wait to acutely do the mod the correct way and you're all about butchering "rigging" in the meantime. That way when and IF you decide to redo everything and go back to original and do the mod correct. You can replace the pins and lock the wires back in the factory plug. Sorry I'm ocd as f$ck when it comes to wiring. And really hate building ppl new wire harnesses because someone decided to rig one and ends up frying everything because they didn't know what they was doing. Wait actually do it this way and come see me when everything goes haywire. Just be ready for the bill and hopefully you have $$$ because it's definitely going to cost you 😂

Hi - Based in the UK and just bought a 2000 sportster and had the issues, where the flashers came on and didnt flash with LED's. Strangely the Hazards even with LED's flashed perfectly fine. I installed the relays and fixed the turn signals which now flash, but with the relays installed, the Hazards dont even come on - did you come across this?

Revmax 1250 will take out big twin
@ZozzerRidez
@ZozzerRidez 4 ай бұрын
Because of the gearing it could stay neck and neck with 114 baggers up to about 100, but a 114 street bob would pull ahead at the top of 2nd. I think an efi 1250 with a good tune could do even better tho. As far as revmax a 1250 sport bike could smoke any big twin 😂 doesn't count when it's an entirely different engine.

@@정성훈-b1t3x I managed to solve it with two 20w15R resistors, connected in parallel to the arrows. the connection was made in the front turn signal harness after the plug that comes from the main harness. since the resistor has no polarity, you connect one side to the positive wire and the other to the gnd.
