Works as well as expected. I use it in my RV when I want to watch TV and RV HVAC loudness prohibits me from hearing. RV is already cool , so Artic Cooler keeps the area cool until TV watching is done ; then turn AC back on . Do not believe it would get a scorching hot area cool. But it is fine for how I use it. Thanks for video!

I got one for about $32.00 on an online store. I have central ac, but living in Georgia, you can never get enough cool air this time of yr. Anyway, I ran cool sink water on the filter, and put some water in it with just 2 ice cubes. It blows a cool mist and feels okay as a personal fan. Of course, it would only be helpful if you got ac indoors already. So as a lil bit of help if you live in a place like this hot Georgia it's worth trying out. The humidity went up about 2% and the temp dropped about 1 degree is all. But the cool air from it feels good if you put it near you. I will put the filter in freezer and try again later, but just couple ice cubes & water is helping now. As far as it leaking, not bad really just keep it sitting up strait, don't tilt.
@jandelong5063Ай бұрын
Ok today I put the filter in it that had been in the freezer for several hrs. Added cool water from sink also. It felt slightly cooler, but about the same as before really. It's like I said before, helps a lil bit as personal fan. And u need to add water to it about every 2 hrs.

I had the same problem trying to get the filter out, I had to look at the owners manual. I have my artic pure chill 2.0 on my night stand in my bedroom, I sleep with my artic pure chill 2.0 on at night. I Love it!!! It helps keep me cool on hot south Texas summer days. I also use the a/c along with the artic pure chill on at the same time!

Thank you so much for the vid. We have already had to do this 2 many times. We bought this frig in 2019 and Sears already came out in 2022 or so to fix the monitoring piece and it still has to be defrosted every year. Most annoying thing that you have to take it apart so much lame. Frig cost so much when we bought it. Should have kept my old frig. All because i wanted the stainless steel and now its out of fashion lol. Lesson learned. 😂

I don't know honestly. I recall seeing somewhere a note about the defrost function not operating properly in these models, but don't know for sure. Since I posted this video (knock on wood) I haven't had to defrost it again though. That and keeping the air flow vents in & around the drawers clear & not blocked I bet helps.

How many filters are you able to clean on a single bottle?

Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! kzbin.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

@@brmcbratney that's not what the infomercial alludes. It says it helps cool spaces, so you don't need bulky a/c units. It didn't cool anything for me. Arctic air has no refrigerant. It does not have a BTU rating. It holds water, may be 16 ounces. It has a small fan. May be mood lighting. False advertising. Bought one. Got duped. Returned it for refund. They change names of the product. Please do not believe a word they are saying. No device can cool without refrigerant. Deception from a to z.

@brmcbratney11 ай бұрын
If I recall, max chill does indeed leak like crazy, moreso just that much more water collecting on the fins in front of the unit. Drip tray necessary 100%. The XL is better about this, and tilting the fins of the diffuser up so water drains backward a little seemed to help. Good luck!

Same bought it at a drugstore, my room was like 83 degrees, plugged it in and have no conplaints. I use a combo of 🧊, ICE 💧 & I freeze the filter using my buddy Mr. Freeze, who keeps talking about the ice age coming back. Idk but he's pretty annoying! I will use distilled water from now on to cut down on mildewy stuff. Also, I usually dump out the old water if it sits in there for awhile. I'm going to try using a slushy type water next. Mr freeze wants me to use dry ice but I keep telling him that would be harmful for me & would destroy my machine. This thing blows pretty cold air, it sits 3 feet from me and at night I use it and a combo with my fan, pretty chill. Good thing is, I won't need this much longer.
