To be clear, it's amperage that kills you, not voltage. I have personally been shocked by low amperage very high voltage with nothing but tingles, and watched someone die from 48 volts at high amperage. I've accidently arc welded with a fluke meter measuring 48v at high amperage. The voltage of something doesn't concern me, it's how many amps. The amount of current (amperes) that passes through the body is the real measure of shock intensity, not the voltage. This is standard in most EE courses, I'm surprised a Physics teacher has this so wrong.

Congratulation on you both. Just to share from my life experience and learning. Biggest problem most people have in relationships is false expectations. People grew up in different households and have certain ways of doing things and they each thinking that is the normal way. When couple comes together, they are from different households and upbringing. There can only be an expectation if both agreed to a decision or plan. If there was no agreement and the other assume and expected something from their partner, then that is a false expectation because neither agreed to the decision or plan. It really helps with all expectations are agreed and understanding is needed at times if expectation could not be met. Being respectable and kind to each other is number one. Practise makes it easier. Just gotta keep trying to be the person you can be for yourself. If you're happy and love yourself then it is , easier to love another. Or help each other towards that goal. Enjoy your adventure together.

Girl you've got a lot of moxie and sometimes when you meet the right guy you just meet the right guy and I think you might have just meant the right guy and who knows I'll bet you'd like to sail around the world that's something that I've always thought would be an awesome thing to do 🤠

I'm skeptical. The energy for cruising over 4 kts through water is absolutely brutal unless you have a racing hull / hydrofoils. A boat does not coast like a vehicle on wheels. It is impractical to store that much energy by battery. Overnight is even a challenge. Worse, the solar roof area is too limited to get enough wattage up there. You can be 100% electric propulsion at a snails pace if you are truly determined, but I think you're making a huge mistake not making use of sails and prop regen. There are some luxury 50' power cats with an electric only design but cruising speed is super slow. You aren't dodging any weather, and likely impractically slow for blue water crossings. How much food do you carry? Is the current too much to make headway? This design looks quite practical for sitting in a cove somewhere for a long time and not going very far. It will have excellent power for kitchen appliances, water production, etc.

Seriously 20 miles of autonomy? Considering that huge roof, I bet he burns more diesel than a normal motorboat whenever he wants to move. That's a perfect example of over-engineering. He should have kept the sails if he really wanted to save energy.

Please get training off someone who knows what they are doing otherwise you are just offering an assailant a knife in the mix. Sorry but Dan seems like a student pretending to be a teacher, what is his background? Why not both go to a professional, they are senoir blackbelts both because of years of training but also for the discipline and knowledge of what should be taught when. This is a true example of a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Ok. Now I am invested. I was worried Dan was a playboy. I like his thoughtfulness and he seems very concerned and thoughtful about Nicole. I'm a crusty old dad of 3 girls and if this works out, it's what I hope for my 3 daughters. There is no right life to lead, there is only the best life that works for you. ❤❤❤

If you use a chlorine solution in your potable water you can keep those gut buggers under control. The very low level, but constant use makes it difficult for the parasites to live. Eat some natural yogurt to keep replenishing your healthy gut bacteria. Same as you should when taking an oral antibotic.👍

FAKE!! Those waves are very typical in inlets. This is amateurish exaggeration of a very common situation that any GOOD sailor knows how to handle. BTW, nurse sharks are as harmless as a goldfish.

Regardless of who cooked it, If a man eats the last of the chicken juice whilst the woman spent her day working on her own floating house in preparation for a 100 day voyage with the same man who finished off her growling tummy waiting dinner time sustenance which clearly she looked forward to, and with no apparant understanding by the man of the selfish lack of forethought to his famished lady who then without even a kind apology instead tries to placate his lady with brisket juices is a man who is not worthy of her chicken juices to begin with. Especially, if her love language is a safe and inviting bedtime cuddle, and the man doesn't enjoy reciprocating with his lovely lady, either.
