I understand that is probably your first time, so maybe and again I know this is an old video, but maybe letting your vet see this video and he can maybe advise how to do it better. No hate. You always cut at the lowest point. That allows all the puss to come out easier when you cut it up higher that puss sits down at the bottom so you have to squeeze from the bottom and push up to get it out of the hole. But if you cut at the lowest point, then it is freely run out easier way easier I worked with a veterinarian for a long time. Plus, the area should’ve been shaved and washed with a lot of Butadiene. Then cut it open at the lowest point, but I’m glad that there’s people out there that care about their animals and take care of them.
