In my opinion, carbon fiber is one of the ugliest things that you can put on a classic car. It would be cool to paint the carbon fiber hood, spoiler or other part with a transparent black color and clear coat, it would look black but up close you could see that it's a carbon fiber piece, subtle and not too obvious. The only car that I saw is Rimac which uses that technique, but they paint it in blue transparent. Nice Chevelle!

This is the first coilover conversion kit where you have to weld brackets for the shocks, QA1 and others need no welding hmmm interesting

Sounds like you are referring to the hybrid style coil overs. Those are not a entire coil-over shocks like these.

I was adopted at 2 weeks old. I was carried home, in a tuxedo black with white interior 1965 Chevelle SS powered by the ever durable 327/350hp turbo-fire paired with a 4SPD Rockcrusher running into a posi 3:73 rear end. So my maiden voyage was the beginning of a lifetime love affair with all things Chevelle.lol Now,....the only cars I truly love are 64 through 72. Any of the generations afterwards are hideous imo. My favorite year, make, and model is the monstrous 1970 LS6 Chevelle SS in LeMans blue😍🥰. I've seen a few in my life. Especially since my mother and father took me to so many cars shows, that's all I knew growing up. Bristol drag racing was like a religion for my family. We would go to Super Chevy at Bristol every year. So,....I love your channel and will subscribe as soon as I watch this vid. God Bless brother.

Sorry for the late reply, I would still go this route. It has been working really well for my personal needs and how I drive my Chevelle. It's mostly a daily street car and on the weekends I like to take it out on the road and in the canyons so this package does everything I need and or want it to do.

Meh, i'll stick with my 70 Buick GSX spoiler which is mounted to the core support and bumper brackets, sending the air into my radiator and keeping the front end down over 140 mph.

Love how clean the engine compartment is, the accessories are low and tight. Sounded like you said automatic when you panned inside but its a standard, I see the tank for a hydraulic clutch so I bet its a TKO trans.

hey I'm Building a chevelle, i wanted to know why did you go with speedtech over the other competitors? thanks
@chevellefactory
@chevellefactory 7 жыл бұрын
Seen your other question on the other video but I will say the same here also - - Speedtech had me sold with the quality of their arms and they offered a very nice spindle that was a sealed bearing, not the old school standard bearing that you pre load. From there I really liked how that offered different stages of a complete package depending how far you wanted to dive into the front end. Check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIGyhJRvpc-jrKM
