This is the best OLP song period. Recording it with Elvin Jones must’ve been incredible and an incredible honour. Raine (Michael lol) sounds like shit in this live performance. His vocals are sick on the albums though, especially this song, and, of course, Superman’s Dead.

"Starseed was written in five minutes. Chris came up with the bass line and the vibe was so heavy we just wrote it." It only took the band twenty more minutes to record the song" ------ Wow, truly amazing!!!!

What I wouldnt give for a sit down with the bassist for a lesson. Best bass line in a long time and still yet to be matched.

My favorite part about this gig was buddy wearing the legit parka all the way though it, but STILL managing to rock all the way out. It hadta' be cold as balls there....

Holy shit!! About the 15 th time I have seen this band on video and EVERY TIME They play anything where Rane has to hit some highs, well, it just is NOT THERE AT ALL. Brutal because on the record he tags em all. Guess doing a thousand takes is whats happening with this cat. Great song but a fucking dissapoimtment

Awesome band, music that has meaning behind it. Some of the best music on the planet. Bless all!

What I'd give for just one last live show of him truly hitting his notes like this. I know he can still do it just not on a full tour. The best I ever heard them was 2010 during the Clumsy and Spiritual Machines tour. Thank god I was able to attend both Massey Hall shows. I'll never ever forget those nights front row almost center.

And Raine has the guts to state publicly that the reason why MT left was his musical ability.... LOL the dude is one of the most creative and original alternative rock guitar players that ever existed.
@Jbeliski8 жыл бұрын
+Joao Neto Yea I know I saw them live with the original guitarist and he was so exciting to watch play. They tried another direction but it wasn't quite the same for me.

what song in the beginning? when Clumsythiefs production fade out?
@Daviduseche23 жыл бұрын
Jajaja. Just 6 years later comes the answer (i hope you have found the song already)... The song is "Is anybody home" from their "Hapiness is a fish that you can't cach" album (1999) where you can find "One Man Army" as the opening single of the record. Actually is (to me) their best record! You can find there "Blister" one of Our Lady Peace's great underrated songs... (again: in my opinion)

They're a very good live band. I saw them in Minot, North Dakota of all places. The dude climbed at the very top of the stage. I thought the local police were going to have a conniption! LOL

came across this while randomly watching videos and i have to say, i've seen OLP live and they are one of the best sounding bands that i have EVER heard live. they always put on a great show in any weather condition...as seen from this freezing yet wicked performance <3

i guess you could say anyone with a job sold out since they are making money from what they like to do. So count yourself as a sell out. Thats if you happen to have a job these days
@bothan10112 жыл бұрын
Why is it Rain can not hit a fucking high note in this concert, and yet in the video this song he hits a huge high note. FUCKING TWAT. I respect bands with talent who do not write 4 identical albums and each new album declines in popularity, if you can not hit a high note Rain just lip sync.
