I really don't like this picture of Harry in the red shirt - it doesn't really look like him!! They need to replace it with a better one!

I'm a Big Beatle fan and also a Beatle history buff. Bill Harry is the real deal and his acute memory and insight is astounding. The fact that he was searching for publishers for his books about the Who's Who's list of British and American Music legends is baffling.. I'm also impressed by Eddie Winter's positive and informed line of questions in the limited time he had with Bill Harry. Eddie asked the questions that a true Beatle fan would love to ask. Well done!

His ego dominated his head and didn’t recognised that John Fogerty was the sound of CCR. Songwriter, singer, lead guitarist and producer Fogerty took them to success but envy poisoned their souls and destroyed it all. Sadly…Just a sideman for other small acts, never a good songwriter and along with Stu… They became a cover band of Fogerty songs and called themselves CCR? Sad human behaviour! Ungrateful people! SHAME!!!

He was treated by the Beatles like a contest winner instead of a needed musician. I'm sure he personally felt that way but it didn't help his professional career after that in others minds.

Spector didn't start out as a killer but his condition worsened year by year. He was a psycho for many years and it got worse too. He got older and weirder and the woman refused his advances and he killed her because he thought he was too famous to be convicted. Its not much different than O. J. Simpson.--he went off the deep end and killed two people--and by damn he got away with it!

The great Doug Sahm's best LP, "Groovers Paradise", proves Creedence wasn't all John Fogerty. As discussed starting at 31:39 Doug Clifford produced the record and played his inimitable drums behind Sahm. Alas, Stu Cook was on bass and though competent, didn't add any memorable lines to the groove. Here's a link to Sahm's masterpiece: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqu2hqKkr7aKhcU

Eight years to write a book on a drummer who filled in for Ringo on a sick day. Beatles fanaticism creates quite a market. When's the book on Andy White?

Huey Lewis & The News never released a bad album. They just never did. And Mario played such an important part of that. He was virtually the band’s mascot with his signature persona and tight bass grooves. He’s been a huge influence on my playing.

It’s funny, I remember hearing the song “Barbara Ann” when I was little, and for years, until I was in the 6th grade, I thought the song was “bobber ran”. Then one day I was over at my aunt’s house, and she had a Beach Boys CD. I’d gotten it out because I wanted to see if it had a song on there that I thought was them, but come to find out it wasn’t. My mom read me the song titles, and the last track was “Barbara Ann”. I said, “What’s Barbara Ann”? My aunt started singing it. I said, “I thought it was Bobber Ran”. Does anyone know why it is pronounced that way in the song?

Louie Shelton’s interviews are better than this and they basically took him out of the movie. Louie said they told him back then they hated rock and roll. It sounds to me that Hal Blane wanted the limelight listening to this video and couldn’t stand others that had a story that might detract.
