This guy can’t block a hell sweep to save his life

I love the gameplay, im a bryan main and this is my first Tekken so im diving in the deep end i like bryan alot. I definitely struggle with jab string pressure from characters like drag. My friend will spam the jab heat engage whenever i make him block from any move that isnt b1 then throws in some mid checks in between it feels like im totally locked out from play. I armor out most of the time cause idk what else to do. Whenever i sidestep i get caught so idk what im doing wrong is it like timing of the step or what? Cause ive sidestepped outta those jab strings just to get launched😓. I NEED HELP!

i have a discord server where you can join and learn. we got drags, bryans a little bit of everything. we are NA though but if youre interested let me know. Bryan is very technical and im not very good at bryan. Players like jimmy tran though sidestep into like jet upper or ch. Bryans ws3 is really fast ch launcher. I love his 3+4 as well. 121 the heat string the tracking on the last hit will always hit your step im pretty sure. I think you have to time another step mid step. To get around it I would try to ch him maybe? QCB1 also a very strong tool. Drag has to take a risk trying to get in with wr2 since bryan has amazing keep out. (send your discord if interested)

Big fan of your usage of aggression and db4. You get as many of those in as you can without using it too much, started doing that too and I havent hit ranked but I am pretty sure I could easily rank up thanks to your help.
@CBMfromOhio6 сағат бұрын
I like spacing db4 at basically max range because it’s basically unpunishable and the range is pretty nuts. If you’re a Jin player you should join the Jin discord. I’m prettt active there if you want some coaching or just help in general 🙏🏾

It’s mostly audio without gameplay so you can understand what I’m saying. Might do more of this might not. It’s easier this then to put random gameplay and caption the entire video.
@theparanoidpyro26 күн бұрын
You talk about ease, but on a mainly video site, maybe putting a card between the gameplay would be a better alternative than a blank screen. Just something with bullet points, or what topic you are talking about. I just fucking described PowerPoint... Point still stands though, but you give good information regardless, so it isnt too important.

@@theparanoidpyrothank you for the feedback I hope the quality only increases. I usually just record then edit and post . In one day trying to get it up as soon as possible. On longer things I’ll definitely edit more thoroughly now.

me forgetting everything in this video and hopkicking in neutral
@RiotVeteran2 ай бұрын
I agree with all of this. Watching this has given me some things to think on. Mostly on defensive options. I struggle against Drag because he has a ton of plus frames and I naturally want to respect them. I struggle at wall for fear of homing splat moves. AND I whiff in neutral a lot on my losses. Mainly because I am expecting my opponent to approach when I backlash and get blasted. Thanks for the analysis!

Solid Jin players! It was useful information to take in. Something I will add to my toolkit is taking advantage of my i17 frames after heat engage. I find myself using F4 a lot too. Maybe I'll add WR3, FF3, CD4, and DB4. Obviously Jabs and pokes work too. Great stuff!
@CBMfromOhio2 ай бұрын
because think about it like this the quickest thing they can do jab is coming out at i27. I like doing wr3 into bf23. then mix up after wr3.

Don’t know if this vid is getting anymore views but it’s called tips I used to get to blue ranks. Not tips you should use. I’m not forcing you guys 😭. Also characters that I do this for are ones that are not common. Well why not play it out then? Understanding frames is what you need. I slowly learn the important moves and cheesy moves the characters have then beat all the future ones. People have knowledge check play styles it’s not even Tekken if it’s not an even playing field imo.
