Repelling Indians in 1907? Yeah the government exterminated what was left of their tribes, more like it. That resort is built on top of all those dead Native Americans. Why would anyone want to stay at a place where they murdered innocent people?

My husband and I visited the lodge when we visited Oregon not long after the movie came out. It was impressive. Of course, the inside was completely different.

First time seeing Alcatraz was when I was stationed on the USS Coral Sea home ported in Alameda in 1977. We sailed past the island every time we went and returned from sea. When I got married my wife is from the Bay Area and we visited Alcatraz many times in the 80’s and 90’s. I always wanted to spend the night on the island when the park service offered it as part of a fund raiser. Tours were awesome. Former inmates gave talks, rangers gave actual guided tours and authors were in the gift shop signing books. Just returned to Alcatraz in April 2024 and what a difference in everything. Tours are now on your own with an audio player and you walk around. Not a great setup. Hard to follow the information and many times got turned around. They have greatly reduced the spaces one could visit back then. Did not see anyone giving talks or book signings. It was very disappointing to see how far downhill this once great had been. Thanks for sharing.

I like that part when robocop goes in the building where the man has hostages and robocop grabs hims in the wall, and punches him right out the window.

It was devastating when murphy as robocop found out that his family moved away.

I lived in Lolita when Halloween 3 was being filmed, and lived at the apartment the people were staying at in the movie, but the inside apartment scenes were filmed in Los Angeles, wat a cool time to live there, wonderful town and people
