Romanians are not the successors to the Roman Empire, during the Roman occupation of Dacia, a lot of actual Romans were brought in to stabilize the region.

It wasn't a war aim for Denmark to keep Holstein and Lauenburg, on the contrary it was the aim to create a national state/Kingdom containing the Danish speaking areas of the realm and leaving the German speakers in Holstein and Lauenburg to their own. Apart from the Kingdom of Denmark that would say the Duchy of Slesvig. Slesvig had alongside Holstein been ruled by the Danish Monarch as a Duchy since medieval times. Lauenburg had been given after Napoleonic wars as a compensation for Norway. The historic border between Slesvig and Holstein was the river Ejder which is where the border most likely would have been drawn in case of a Danish Victory in 2nd S-H war. The 1920 border was drawn approximately at the language border (there had been a massive Germanification 1864-1920) but it was seriously considdered after WWII to include the area down to the Ejder. Thank God they resigned on that claim, it would only have brought trouble.

Ja, hvis det hadde skjedd hadde Danmark fått Slesvig og Tyskland ville fått Holstein. Holstein var rent tyskspråklig og hadde ingen følelse for Danmark. Syd -Slevigerne er opprinnelig danske som gikk over til å snakke tysk på 1800 tallet. Men de er genetisk dansker.

Maybe a state like this could have existed if the HRE's history went a little differently, but I doubt it would have been related to Belgium, more like an empire of the low lands
