Hi, can you make a comment on the sound benefits before and after the Noctua fan upgrade? I’m pretty sensitive to fan noise so wondering if it would be a good fit for me.

It was already quite stock, but these definitely made it quieter.

What are your thoughts/plans with your NUC 13 and the Intel CPU concerns about premature death? Thanks

My only current plan is cross my fingers that I don't have an issue! Lol

That button that you pressed, making the screen flash blue, also makes the light at the back flash blue. It's used fir when you have a rack with a lot of servers, you push the button, and someone behind the rack can see the flashing light and know what server you are fixing

I have had this T7500 for 8 years now maybe more and I have never had issues with it except for the Bios revisions. I have kept the A09 after upgrading years ago to the A16 then to the A17 and it had the reboot issues. I ended up reverting back to the A09 and haven't had any problems since. You mentioned the bios a little and that it was Dell, I am curious did you ever come across the reboot problem? Did you ever upgrade the bios to A18 or anything else since 2019?

Nice review Tyler. I've had an XAVT since 2008 or 9 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It still looks new and the electronic display/functions still work perfectly. I was saddened to see that Victorinox discontinued it in favor of a different model without the display.

Years ago I gave my older sons a T7500 all decked out to be a gaming PC. It ended up just being a work/ Office machine for their Grandmother. Seems to still work LOL. Today? I'm ordering parts for my ultimate T7500 Build. Got the Machine for $21 dollars for local pick up. Ordering a pair of of X5690s today. Still wondering about the RAM situation and how to keep it running at the max speed with the maximum amount you can run. So still looking into that. I'm looking into Clover / Duet- Refind as I saw a thread on the HP forums on how to get a UEFI BIOS on Legacy boot systems like the T-7500. What I found is that the SAMSUNG 950-PRO has an OPROM like the old SCSI HBA cards use to. So it shows up as a Bootable NvME device in the T-7500 Native BIOS. However, there is a Small USB on the Motherboard, and it seems like a perfect place for a small USB Thumb drive in order to enable NvME boot natively in windows 10 and installation via the normal method of a bootable USB stick. So going to try that first before I spend the coin on the the old SAMSUNG 950-PRO that can only be found on EBAY Circa 2024. A newer current generation SSD at 1TB sure seems to be the ticket with the new NvME 2TB drives being less then $100 bucks now if you shop around. I was thinking about somehow seeing if I could install an optane drive as they are around the $100 mark for a 256 GB drive. With the DUET method? This would allow using the OPTANE as a boot / OS drive and its fast 4k que depth OPTANE memory speeds making the system very responsive. Albeit, you could just use primo Cash since you CAN get 8-16 GB DDR-3 RAM sticks (Even special 32GB wfor cheap as chips now, giving you the same performance or better once you boot into the system.

Hi Can I power a scooter with Yetti 500x?
@TylerStartz4 ай бұрын
It's basically impossible to answer this without more details. The 500x can output 300w AC continuously. If the scooter requires 300w or less, yes. If more, no.

Since it was not the LCD scale that was damaged, repairs or refurbishment should be no problem. I managed to do basically the same thing with one of my XXLTs (cracked the end of the scale). Lighter knives would simply have bounced with no harm done but these brutes have too much mass. Imagine what that ridiculous, accordion sized, Wenger monstrosity weighs? Damned thing will set you back at LEAST five grand...if you can find one for sale.

I’m a commercial HVAC technician and I use my surge ALL the time. My brother in law got married this past summer and for a wedding gift, I bought a black oxide wave + and had it engraved with their names and the date of the wedding plus a cheesy cute little quote. My daughter will be getting her license in a few weeks and I’ll be keeping my old surge in her glove box. I love Leatherman and will use them for the rest of my life

Nothing weird about saying it's great. This computer has up to date modern hardware compared to the 4+ years old workstations you used to have in the past and it's probably why the new Mac felt way better than the previous computers too

I have TWO of the version that has the butane lighter (XAVT) ... as well as the XXLT, the XLT, the Swiss Champ and the XXL. I do not have the Workchamp XL yet though (although I will look into this). In my opinion, the Swiss Champ is my choice for the best "bang for the buck" of the Swiss Army knives. These "x" beasts are fun to own but really are too damned big to be practical. Gotta love 'em though!

Wow, that sounds like an amazing power station! As someone who loves outdoor camping and values quality family time, having a reliable power source is essential. The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series seems like a great option with its massive capacity, fast recharging, and waterproof design. It's definitely worth considering for outdoor enthusiasts and RV lovers. Thanks for sharing!
