Mamma mia che motore di merda,anche si un motore affidabile che fa tanti klm,però quando inizia a darti problemi!!!!hmmmm,ha un difetto che l'acqua entra dentro il cofano e si accumula dove si trovano le iniettore dopo di che si creano piano...... Il zinco e ruggine,quando il meccanico di fiducia vuole intervenire per farti risparmiare non vengono fuori tranne con la sua attrezzatura fatta apposta e costa un sacco di soldi e lo fanno apposta a costringerti di andare a loro officina autorizzata,anche i bulloni si spezzano, Renault a fatto un sporco lavorò,bravo Renault.

What about the other type of injector with the grey top? there are two injector types in m9r engines I would be interested if your tool can remove both types.

You are talking about the bosch side feed injectors......the ones in this video are piezo. These ones didn't seem that stuck compared to the bad ones I've seen!

Brilliant tool this is, the trouble people experienced trying to remove these Renault/Vauxall Injectors in the past, before this removal kit come about, makes life so much easier....

We have a Citroen C4 DV6 engine with a snapped glow plug tip on it, we tried every 'old trick' in the book to get it out but no joy, nutted up and bought this tool, it doesnt come with the drill chuck or flexi adapter so would highly recommend buying that at the same time (we didnt and had the extra day wait, not really a problem but just a delay with only ourselves to blame.) We got it all set up, read through the instructions and credit where it is due. This tool pulled it straight out. Cant recommend and the customer service from the sales guy was so spot on he sold it within the first 2 minutes of phoning. Cheers

Any thick grease should work, but don't use as much as they did in the video

I have a broken tip stuck in my head and I was think to flood it with EGR cleaner and turning the engine on. Do you think that piston could blow it out without causing more damage ??

+AZ DONALD I guess one can say that even with audio, people who are not quite deeply into the knowledge of overhauling of diesel engines, would not understand so much more anyway) It's a good special tool kit for engine shops that are shown here, and nicely demonstrated

+Rimrock300 absolutely. I've changed the glow plugs in my bobcat skidsteer but never knew you had to clean out the shaft like this. never had a clue but an explanation would have been nice.

+AZ DONALD I'm not so into it, but are just to change glow plugs in my car myself, and have been looking at some info at the web recently. It's said that excessive carbon built-up on the walls in the cambers where plugs are placed leads to reduced plug life, so that's the reason for this tool. But it's not a must doing this cleaning, but if one have problems with short plug life, it can possible help trying to clean something there. Could be handy, but have no problem with any special short plug life in this engine, so far)
