Hey Darren, good luck with the new series! I've been a long time watcher of your content, but I couldn't watch the streams because of time constraints. So happy to see a new Satisfactory series from you. I started watching you when you just aired the first episode of Update 7 and was hooked ever since. I recently fininished 1.0 after 250 hours. For the hard drives: reroll and farm for screwless recipes. Or Cast screws at least.

Awesome job covering the beginning of the game! I prefer rescanning earlier on rather than just holding onto unwanted alternate recipes, as the rescan will cycle through less options the earlier in the game you are. Basically, I'd do my best to get things like the Cast screw recipe, or sometimes the Biocoal (or Charcoal) recipe is very handy early game for grabbing a bit of coal for things like vehicle fuel, small amounts of black powder, etc. It's a great example of a recipe that is useless in supply chains and past early game, but it can make the QOL of the early game a lot more smooth. If you can spare a dimensional depot for coal, it is meaningless though lol.

I have to say, the SAM glitching in the cuts is a really nice touch! As for recipies, I've recently re-evaluated caterium wire. Used to not like it, but I recently set up a line where both circuit board, computers and high speed connectors all use Caterium variants, so the carerium wire is excellent in that line, the whole factory uses only Carerium and a little bit of oil.

I thought the biomass burners attached to the hub just burn constantly not caring about how much you need and that only the seperate biomass burners you build have that feature

Tip: Save as many snails as possible, for when you have progressed enough and unlock the somerslop 2x output feature. That way you maximize your snails.

5:50 + - I don't know if you know this, but if you hold E, and then go to your inventory, then it does that grabbing thing automatically. It's very convenient.

There is a bug (I would say feature) which locks the collection of leaves and wood. You don't even have to hold 'E'. Look at leaves or wood and highlight it. Press and hold 'E'. Press 'M' to open the map. Press 'M' again to close the map. Release 'E'. Now it doesn't matter what you do, until you press 'E' again the Pioneer keeps collecting every leaf and wood within her reach.

Played satisfactory for the 1st time on 8 November with my mate. 110 hours later the game was finished, very clunky, feeds not always balanced, but very fun. This video is tickling my inner mathematics very nicely the way you build and balance. Learning a lot of the QOL capabilities with copy/paste/maths in the search bar. Very ayoba indeed !!💪
