Beckley is one of my home tracks here in southern WV and it’s a tough track to qualify good at when there’s a lot of good competition there! I’ve been to a lot of tracks up and down the East Coast and back across the Midwest over the years and I think Beckley still puts on some of the best racing for the teams and the Fans anywhere and Randy The track owner, is Planning on bringing in a lot of big events each year at the highest levels over the next couple of years for the late models and open wheel modified classes

Those aren't easy races to make. You raced your way and ran a good race and got valuable seat time. You need to get some color on that car to set you apart ,it was hard to see where you were on the track.

@NothinButDirt4 That actually sounds like a solid plan. Nothing wrong with 604 lates. Get yourself comfortable and start hitting some bigger races and you will be running against some good competition. There is a reason alot of traveling super drivers run bigger 604 shows.Probably the best path you can choose for yourself. Hit different tracks this year and build a notebook, and then hit some bigger races late this season and next season. Good luck.

@@NothinButDirt4 honestly I’m not sure but depending on travel a limited option may work. IHMO super is so expensive even on regional level unless your have deep pocket backing is tough. A good friend of mine does the limited deal and has been somewhat successful with it but again it takes money.

I had the jump and he drove down the side of me. I just tried to hold my line and stay off the wall. Shit happens and I’ll be back up there in a couple weeks. I race everyone the way they race me and try to race everyone the way I want to be raced.

@@NothinButDirt4 I hear ya. That’s how crates have been there this year. They’ve been tearing stuff up every week. Last Friday a guy got turned into the front stretch wall on the start of the heat race. Some of that is racing on a one lane track every week because the promoters are lazy and do nothing to the track. Word is they will be out at the end of the season so hopefully someone else takes over that will actually prep the track and racing will get better

@@aaronmills2324 I can say those folks work hard on the track. It’s my favorite place to go race. In my opinion it’s a reflection of the drivers being one lane drivers. I watched the street stocks run 3 wide and race hard right after our feature. The crate stuff is a little bit different but still gotta have drivers that respect their own equipment as well as other racers. That guy has pure drove over me twice now and at that point it’s a driver problem lmao.

@@MrBrennanCreeper there is a small truth behind that. The past few races I’ve been all but able to get it done. My budget is about as small as it gets. I might look like I have everything under the sun but I’m 26 years old and bust tail everyday to earn what I have. I pay for 90% of my racing out of my pocket. If it wasn’t for the one fella I got helping me out with diesel I wouldn’t be able to afford to race all over like I do. Biggest thing is you gotta go and get out there and not let those big money guys get in your head. It can be done with a small bill fold we just gotta work a little harder and sleep a little less.

This may not be your fuel issue , but we found out the hard way. When we was running 602 , we had the wrong fuel pump rod in the motor. We had the 604 push rod with the bronze tip and that’s for a 604. So needless to say , when we moved up to 604 we knew which rod we needed . You don’t happen to have the 602 fuel pump rod in the 604 ?

Car was great. Finally found the stumble in the carb unfortunately started in the rear with the nut chasers. Guy the hit me in the LR pulled out of the pits while we were coming to the green. All in all just a shit situation which cost a lot of money. Part of it I reckon
