Actually the crate engines work well in SS. Especially on the dry slick tracks that they tend to race on. Like you said getting the front end geometry close to the modifieds that you ran so long. You should do well with it.

Yessir that’s the goal. The car definitely has a ton of room for improvement. We took it down to Lavonia a couple weeks ago and didn’t quite have enough gear for down there. Eventually going to throw a quick change under it so it’s a bit easier to travel with. After speedweek at Fayetteville my season has come to a halt. Had an air cleaner driver bend the front clip of the 602 late model so currently weighing some options to get a car back together

@@SamE-iy4cb yessir that’s right. My plan was to race at VMS for points in 604 late model. Just might be doing that a little bit different than expected. I’ve got my eyes on a 19 Mastersbilt that has been well taken care of and been updated by the local dealer. Plan is to get that as a bare chassis then drop a 604 in it and be still have the option to swap the 602 in and out. Probably gonna get rid of the Barry Wright and down the road look at getting another Mastersbilt to replace it with. When I’m not able to race the 604 I’ll still have the street stock to race and have some fun with. Way I look at it is everything happens for a reason and just gotta trust in the good man up stairs to guide me in the right direction.

Where is it ur from? Heard u say something about north and south Carolina. I go to Cherokee speedway in South Carolina all the time. Didn't know if u did any or if ur even near there.

I’m out of Kinston NC. I’ve only made 2 laps at Cherokee, ended up raining out that night but I’m about 4 hours from there.
