@31knots502 ай бұрын
Yes it works, and your dilution ratios with multi star are much lower. Simple green has a ph of 8.5-9, and thats pre dilution and if used straight is applied by hand in a sprayer. When 2 oz of simple green is mixed with 30 oz of water your solution is a ph of about 7.3-7.5, neutral. When 2 of MSN at ph 13.5 is mixed in to 30 oz of water you get a ph close to 12.5, -very- basic. A high base cleaner/solution will emulsify dirt, and general road grime, turns tar and oils into soap themselves that are easily rinsed off, degrade sap and bug guts, and generally removes all organic and inorganic contamination minus metallic bonds which is iron/metal fall out in your paint and is generally way safer on paint and metal components of your car. Default to alkaline 9/10. Acidic for water spots, and iron/metal particle contamination (high base can remove break dust as well though). ie MSN is a beast, and is essentially a touchless car wash and will clean about 95% of the dirt on your car with a simple soak, dwell, and pressure washer rinse. DO NOT USE IT TO CONTACT WASH either in the bucket on when on the car. It will penetrate your gloves and begin to destroy your organic material (skin). Follow with a ph neutral soap for that remaining 5%. Use this on crusted cars all day.

I used both the Adams and the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Paste wax and for me it's the Turtle Wax Graphene Paste all day long. It's $25 or so on Amazon now and it works incredibly well. The gloss is insane on the Turtle Wax. It's slightly oily but it looks great on the paint. I would highly recommend the Turtle Wax Graphene Paste. You'll probably be able to wax your car for five or more years with one tin. I like the fact I can use my Flex PXE-80 and a three inch pad and just put the pad right into the tin itself and twisted it a few times to load up the pad with wax and then applied over several panels before wiping it off after 15 or 20 minutes as the wax hazes over slightly. I would highly recommend you apply it either in the shade or a garage for the best experience but it was a breeze to apply and wipe off. Not as easy as Menzerna Powerlock+ but pretty close. I love the Turtle Wax Graphene Paste wax, it's my new favorite wax. I apply mine every three or four months just to top it off again and it works perfectly. In between you can use any topper/drying aid of your choice. I personally like Technicians Choice Ceramic Spray Sealant (yellow one) as the topper. It goes on buttery smooth, leaves no streaks, you can use it either wet or dry, and it leaves the paint feeling silky. It's a perfect complement to the Turtlewax Graphene Paste wax. Another topper I love using is NV Car Care LUSTRE. Lustre is one of the best sealants on the market today. Another perfect topper for the Graphene Paste Wax. I actually put a base coat of Soft 99 Fusso Coat, let it cure 24 hours, and then do a second Fusso. Wait 24 hours again, and then apply the Turtlewax Graphene Paste Wax in two coats separated by 24 hours. The Turtle wax is one of the glossiest waxes I have ever used which I why I love it. I hope Turtle Wax continues to make the Graphene Paste for years to come because it's light years ahead of any other waxes they have released, especially the original goopy green stuff they used to sell 40 years ago, at least as far as gloss anyway. Supposedly the Turtle Wax Graphene Paste is a blend of ten different waxes and sealants and I believe it. In the 45+ years I have been detailing, this is one of the glossiest waxes I have ever used. It made my 370Z look better than the day it rolled off the showroom floor! I have gotten so many comments on how good it looks when I take it out for a drive. People ask me what I use on it all the time and they are shocked when I tell them it's good ole' Turtle Wax!

I was just watching some videos on the correct way to install a "add a fuse". Most people are installing incorrectly, just like in your video because you can't put the wire leading out of the "add a fuse" facing the left side (where it belongs) there is not enough room. The powered female connector on the block, is on the right side and so is the wire on the "add a fuse", which means your not adding a fuse, your tapping directly into the power side and not actually running the power through the fuse. I have not found one that will accomdate this issue, I thought about adding an additional in line fuse (just in case). Watch the you tube video on correctly installing a "add a fuse" and youll see what im saying. If someone ever does short to ground could be a major issue.
@bobl997Ай бұрын
Actually if you look at the add-a-fuse schematic, inserting it the “wrong” way causes the current to flow through both fuses, so it is still protected. Not as you say.
@craighall8762Ай бұрын
@@bobl997 Grab a mutil-meter and check it out as I did then you will see or you can ignore facts and melt your fuse block.
@craighall8762Ай бұрын
@@bobl997 If you use an add-a-fuse with a double fuse row yes the circut would be protected. Like most I had to use a single fuse add-a-fuse for height so my box cover would close. On those type add-a-fuses the load side is connected to the prong to provide power to the original circut, so if your install incorrectly and the fuse blows your still providing power to the device connected to the add-a-fuse, if that is where the short is you will burn the fuse block up. So no I am NOT incorrect. There are may ways to do this but a single fuse add-a-fuse can be installed incorrectly.
@bobl997Ай бұрын
@ I am not familiar with single fuse add-a-fuse. I was able to install a low-profile add-a-fuse properly without top interferences exactly where the OP showed. Not sure of other years, but on my ‘24 it is recessed enough for the a-a-f to fit OK. For the usual add-a-fuse you’re generally OK but I would use a much lower fuse for the additional circuit so it potentially blows first, but no guarantee.
