Great video! I wanted the lights to be on all the time, so I tried runing this in the "INJ" fuse location - that fuse is hot all the time that the ignition is on - and it works, but the problem is that the fuse box lid won't close with it in that location! I guess you could always wire it to the fuse box inside the cab and use the INJ fuse there? Wish that SevenSparta offered these in the "blacked out" amber lens, and I wish someone would make a fuse box lid for the 2020+ 4Runners that would accept the add-a-fuse taps in any location!

Just cut a little square on the fuse box and run the cable thru it.

Great video. A very helpful step by step installation. I finally decided to put a raptor light on wifey's '20 Venture... How's the bracket holding-on now? Aside from Seven Sparta Raptor Light, would a different brand of Raptor light (same spec of the Seven Sparta) fit with the bracket?

Awesome video! Just ordered my lights and bezels from Ed at 3bMakers. I plan to stay away from the in INJ fuse because that affects the fuel injector and will most likely use your recommendation since I run with my DRL’s all the time. My question is, if I tap the low beam and turn on my headlights will the raptor lights remain on? Thank you for your guidance in advance and great content!

Tap into the low and they will act the same as your low

New to all of this...if the lights are wired to the low-beam fuse, does that mean that they'll cut off when the high-beams are activated?

@@martinpicon757the 10amp accessories in the engine fuse box my man. The lights came with an adapter to put an extra fuse. The lid of the fuse box wont close properly so I just ziptied the clips and it has been a while without any problems

Thank goodness I didn’t order them yet!.. I have the sr5 premium and the grill is that one you have. Most raptor lighting don’t have those brackets or option to select them

The video is great but the bezels are expensive for what they are, plastic, but they fit into my 2022 4RUNNER TRD Off Road grill as advertised and they look good.

I was just watching some videos on the correct way to install a "add a fuse". Most people are installing incorrectly, just like in your video because you can't put the wire leading out of the "add a fuse" facing the left side (where it belongs) there is not enough room. The powered female connector on the block, is on the right side and so is the wire on the "add a fuse", which means your not adding a fuse, your tapping directly into the power side and not actually running the power through the fuse. I have not found one that will accomdate this issue, I thought about adding an additional in line fuse (just in case). Watch the you tube video on correctly installing a "add a fuse" and youll see what im saying. If someone ever does short to ground could be a major issue.

Just traded my '12 Ram for a '21 Venture this weekend.. I modded a lot of lights onto the Ram and am really loving your final look here! Excellent tutorial video! 👍 One question though... I prefer (at least I did on my Ram) accessory lights like these to activate with the parking lights. If I install as you did, these will activate with the low beams - which are what activate as the DRLs in my '21 Venture (I think). I prefer to drive with my DRLs all the time. So, please correct me if I'm wrong, if I'm understanding this right... I turn my rig on and have my DRLs on, then my low beams are activated and these grille lights activate as well. Then, if/when I activate my headlights (not just DRLs but the headlight selection that activates my taillights) these will stay on as well. ?? Basically, these grille lights will be active ANY time the low beams are activated. I do apologize for being a bit long winded (and perhaps a tad repetitive), however I like to think every aspect through and ensure I understand what my final end result will be before I tackle a project like this. I really appreciate your video and your reply/confirmation!

For some reason when I used the low beam fuse it gave power to the raptor lights nonstop….with the car off and everything..so I used the “INJ” fuse and it works properly by only coming whenever the car is running….sucks cuz I did want to have it come off if I turned all lights off but the deal fuse also did the same thing as the low beam

How did you get the fuse box lid to close with the add-a-fuse in the INJ location? That's actually the one I *want* it to use to be able to have them on whenever the ignition is on? In my 2020 the lid won't close at ALL with the add-a-fuse in the INJ location...

Hi there, thank you for the video. I just got a set for my SR5. They are DOOD ( don’t know what this means). There are no instructions included but I have a question to see if you can help me. I got the 4 lights, the wiring hardness and 2 pcs add-a-fuse. First of all why 2 add a fuse pcs? And second, the fuse is # 15 instead of # 10?? Thank you for your help GG

Any problems with these 2 years later? My 2022 4runner starting throwing a “brake override malfunction”. Comes to find out something is burning a fuse and causing this. Took it to the dealer and they said it could be the raptor lights causing it.
