Naja,denke,wenn mein Moped alt und ausgenudelt ist, würde ich das auch nachrüsten.Aber, prinzipiell reichen mir die originalen 250ccm....und würde das eben nur zur Revision eines alten kaputten Motors nutzen.Tuning finde ich unnötig,da hätte ich mir was größeres kaufen müssen...mir reichen die 17 Pferdchen aus 250ccm....

@@marksgemfaceting Normal,plane ja, meine 250er Cromwell so lange zu fahren, bis ich an ner Ampel umfall😁 Bin halt immerhin 59Jahre jung, aber irgendwann lässt einem der Körper im Stich, die Kräfte lassen nach und alles tut weh.Deswegen wird die Cromwell wohl mein letztes Motorrad sein und ich genieße es, solange ich noch kann -aber vielleicht schaffe ich es ja noch bis zur ersten Motorüberholung 😁

Hey! I’ve been thinking about doing a big bore kit on my 88’ and your videos have been exceptionally helpful! Thank you for making those. I wanted to ask what you chose to do with the headlight? I replaced mine with an LED model I bought from someone off their Harley, but I like the look of yours much better. Is this the OEM sealed beam, or did you switch it out with something?

21:21 yeah I have had lots of difficulty with putting the cam chain sprocket and bolts back on and keeping that 1 o clock pin position and top dead center. Other than that it's enjoyable to take the piston off and new rings on.

My 92 does 100kmh for an hour or two easily at 6k. Down wind it does more. Bulletproof ! Would have been good to know what this upgrade actually does to performance and reliability.

I sold it before it was fully run in, I can tell you that the torque and acceleration was greatly improved.

Aaargh! I only remember putting ONE little ring on before i put the clutch back together. No wonder it won’t go in to gear. Better try that one again. Cheers.

@@marksgemfaceting the good news is that the big bore upgrade went perfectly, the engine started right up, timing and valves were spot on. New timing chain is nice and quiet. The clutch will be an easy fix.

It wasn't the ring washer, that was in there, I forgot to adjust the clutch release screw. it was too loose for the new clutch plates to engage. Once it was screwed out a couple of turns it works fine.

You can carefully dress those burs off of the clutch basket with a small and fine file I did fix an old 1970s gt that way just remove tho obvious burs and it will work fine always fit brand new clutch plates and clutch springsbwhen rebuilding any engine band bre pair born replace the clutch pushrodbif at all possible

El piñón del árbol de levas no se toca ni hay que desmontarlo. Primero se saca el tensor y la cadena sale bien . Otra cosa, el nural es lo último que se pone porque entre poner distribución , culatín y sus tornillos, la silicona ya está semiseca.

A cylinder and bore need to be engineered to fit with the crank shaft and valve clearances. It would be very difficult.

Do you know the part number for the spark plug I have a suzuki extreme baja 300 that I bought with a bad head I replaced the head but the plug the old head had was not the correct one for it
