In GA4, the correct metric for average time spent on a page is the “Average Engagement Time per Session,” which is automatically calculated by GA4. You don’t need to manually divide the engagement rate by active users to obtain this metric. Instead, you should look at the predefined metrics in GA4 to get accurate data.
